Hello everyone.You can call me Ami if you'd like. I just joined a few days ago, but I'm finally finding time out of my busy schedule of work and the end of the semester to introduce myself. I actually knew of Subeta for a long time, probably 8+ years tbh. I'm sure I poked around here when I was in my teenage years way back when. I've been on numerous pet sites over the years, starting with Neopets, then moves on to several others but lost interest in them pretty quickly. I now mainly reside on Misticpets (as one of the writers on staff), but I decided to branch out again and found my way here. ^^ I forgot how massive this site was and I'm still trying to get my bearings. I'm searching around every now and then when I get a chance between doing assignments and quizzes.

I'm currently 25 years old and enjoying my first semester in vet tech program. It took me awhile to actually figure out what I wanted to do. At first I wanted to go into the Zoology program, but I decided it wasn't for me. I'm aiming to be a equine vet tech since I love horses so much. I'm big into Japan, their language, folklore and their culture. I'm planning to go to Japan next year and visit Tokyo with my twin sister. Anime is awesome (Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Zoids, DragonBall Z and Persona are some of my top favorites.), but I'm more into Tokusatsu nowadays. Have been for 9 or so years. Tokusatsu is a Japanese term for any live action tv show or film that uses a lot of special effects, if anyone was wondering. Some of these include Godzilla, Super Sentai (This series was translated into Power Rangers in America.), Garo and my favorite series of all, Kamen Rider (If you heard of Saban's Masked Rider or Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight, those are also American adaptions of said series). I can go all day saying how awesome these shows are, but I'll stop there. I'm also big into cosplay and I'm making my first out of state trip to PMC in California in a few months, which I'm so excited about. Beside that, I love sitting down to read a good book, as well as writing and playing video games. I guess that pretty much tells you a little about me.

Hello ! Welcome to subeta! I've never been on any other pet sites myself but a lot of people here have been or use neopets from what I can see. I'm 17 (quite a bit of an age gap there lol) and when I graduate I want to go to school to become a veterinarian. I love anime(and manga) too! I haven't seen much Tokusatsu myself, well excluding power rangers from childhood lol. I could talk all day about my favorite animes and mangas but that is a rather long list (The Black Butler, Fairy Tail, Ouran High School Host Club, My little monster, Maid Sama, Vampire Night, Nabari No Ou, and the list goes on and on lol) I also love to draw in that art style though I've branched out to other styles in the past two years and very recently have gotten into digital art.(I'm only an amateur but I do my best haha and I am horrible at digital but I'm working on it!) Also I'm not sure that you'd need it since you've known of subeta prior to recently signing up but feel free to ask if you have any questions. I've been around subeta for 5 years now so I don't know everything but I should be able to help.
