I know only neopets and powerpets but it is years ago I have fisit those sites. Neopets is too much inflated with rules and restrictions, and power pets is too long ago for me to remember a thing.

Subeta is for me unique because:

The artwork is more refined. Despite I can nag sometimes about details, I love the artwork in general. It is not a site for little kids. Most petsites are adjust for little kids. Subeta has got many beautiful items and you can keep much more pets than on other petsites.

Are there more things what makes Subeta different?

Well, a lot of petsites allow you to keep more pets but only Subeta allows you to give them custom pages, huge stories and TCs; I can customise my dragon's pages on Flight Rising, but I could never in a million years make something as unique as some of the Pet Spotlight winners here. There are also no TCs there, but you can add images of items to their bios which I guess is superior in some ways since you don't actually have to own the item.

There is not only a large selection of pet species, but there is also a wide choice of styles, from sweetheart to nightmare and everything in between.

Subeta is not a petsite.

Petsites have pets as a primary feature, and content related to pets added on a weekly basis, which has not been the case with Subeta for a long, long time.

Aside from what everyone else has mentioned: Subeta has the best staff and customer support service. The staff actually takes time for the members and uses their feedback. Back when I played neopets (many, many moons ago), I don't think I ever interacted with a staff member and I played on the site for 10 years. On subeta, staff frequents the forums and have conversations with the players about pretty much anything under the sun. I'm sure they use the shoutbox but I personally don't and I often forget about the feature LOL

I'd say Subeta is a pet site because I use the term more as a genre word than a description of the site- to me, "petsite" kind of means a slow-paced browser MMO, simulated economy etc. It's basically it's own genre of video games. Tho I agree that more pet features would be more than welcome. ;_;

The items and art are what make Subeta unique for me. I think that makes other parts of the site like pets and HAs even more pleasant, when they use such unique and gorgeous items. I also love that I can collect really nice pet names on here.

I wish the pets pages were like Neopets where they got a profile + an entire blank customizable page, that would be really really cool.

Yeah Subeta is the biggest site that has both pets and avatar customisation as their main feature. Usually it's either one of those, at least on sites with similiar success.

There are petsites with better (pet) designs, but that's the only thing those sites have to offer.

Coming from Neopets, Subeta's functions are user friendly and improvments are regular. There were so many things that needed improvment on Neopets that have already been improved twice on here.

I always preferred Subeta over other pet sites because it has much, much better art.

I agree with what others have said. It may have started out as a pet site, but it's evolved to be more than that, I think.

If you want to focus on your pets, you can do that. If you want to create a bunch of different outfits, you can do that. If you like collecting items and earning achievements, you can do that.

It's got a little bit of something for everyone. And on top of that, such a great staff in that they listen to user suggestions and quickly implement the kinds of things that we ask for. I love that we actually know who a lot of the creators and admins are, and that we have a direct line of communication with them. It helps the site feel like more of a community, in my opinion.
