Hi there! I'm looking for some pet buttons...I really hate how the mis-aligned squares look on my dark profile (same with the WL and shops and trophies, but oh well!).

If anyone wanted some practice, I wouldn't mind some transparent pet buttons. It's up to you how you make them look, but if you want a bit of guidance, circular would be rad, maybe with the pet name underneath instead of within? I dunno!

FYI, I'm traveling so my internet access is so-so.

This is all just a shot in the dark here--if no one bites, I'll probably just end up buying some pet buttons in a month or so!

Okay, I'll do my best to come up with something suitable that suit those awesome pet names that fit that description. ;) I may need up to two weeks to do all ten but I'll try to finish them sooner if time permits. How does 2m for all 10 sound?

(Sorry for the wall of text! This is basically my first time ever doing this)

I really enjoy the buttons you did for Permanent, the only thing I'm not too keen on is the font. I guess since I was picturing free cheapy buttons, I was thinking circular headshots similar to the current rounded squares, a black circle border, with pixely text underneath, maybe sort of curved under the circle. But the headshots you did are really cool! I guess I would just prefer a more simple text--I don't really know what to ask for, haha.
I do know I would want the colors to fit in with my profile, or at least complement them. I'm planning on keeping this profile for a long while, and the colors are my favorites, so my next profile would probably be the same color scheme.

Also, my pets are not all in their "final forms"--I'm not sure what to do about that concerning the buttons. Smoldering I am planning on making a RB Tigrean once I catch a TS restock; Anytime I just adopted and don't know what my plans are for him species-wise; Montane I'm not sure on species/color; Rubert is eventually going to be Glade (probably)...but her specifically you could make look like a Ruffie colored like a Manchester Terrier, since that's the breed of the dog she's a tribute to.
The rest of my pets are completed in regards to color/species! I don't know if it's allowed to get the buttons to represent the pet "incorrectly"--like how you can't do that on the pet profiles--if it is, then it's fine to represent them just how they are.

Do you have any other button examples, or any guidelines or something I could look at to make my request a bit clearer? (And maybe the night to mull over how I want them to look?)

No need to rush making them, I won't be home for another week and a half, plus I would then need to figure out how to add them to my profile :p

The art for those buttons was not done by Imp but by vicious. Imp did the fonts and made them look like stickers. For buttons and your profile you could do like the names themselves in similar colors to your profile, you could represent each pet with like an item followed by the name or using subeta pet art. I am sure imp has example of the various styles she offers somewhere.

No charge for your next two buttons. Just send me the headshots or links to the headshots. :)

I have a board here with different styles. I have an order form there that you can use for each pet so that it'll be easier for both of us to keep track of what you want. :)

If you're using a custom image, I'll need the link to the image... I can't do recolors/redraws because it's currently beyond my abilities.

Anyway, I think it's okay if you want to use a different species/color from your pet's current look on your profile as long as you don't do the same on said pet's profile itself but do check with a UA.

Okay! I do like that circular one you have on your board--style 5! No custom images then, I will make do without! The UA said I have to represent the pet as it currently is. But I think I will get the buttons for the pets as I plan them to be, so I can just use them once I get the potions in order. Also, I currently only have 9 pets--that 10th slot is in a state of limbo, adopting in and adopting out, haha.

Another thing, if they could be slightly larger than the default pet buttons, so more of the face shows, that would be awesome. Your example button looks great but I can't tell if that's because of the pet, or because it's a larger image! I would like white text for all of them, too--or, if that looks odd, then the opposite blue/green from the color of the circle (does that make sense?) I'll try to find the hex color codes but I'm not really sure how to/which part of the profile code is which color!

The font I used for style 5 doesn't work well with short names.

Also, do you want consistent fonts or whatever works for the names? Some of your pet names are longer which will work with the original font.

Lastly, are the colors of the font and background the correct shades?

I'd like to get them right before I move on to make the remaining buttons. :)

P.S. Ignore the background-font alignment. They'll be corrected for the final buttons.

Ah, if you could use a plain serifed font that looks like Garamond or Georgia that would be good (not TNR though!). I would like the fonts to be the same for all of them. Do you have it bolded? If so, could I see one example without it bold?

I used a hex finder on all the hex codes in my profile code. The blue is , and the green is .

Okay, I've done the necessary edits. The hex codes made it much easier. I changed the font to Georgia. Do you prefer it bolded?

Another thing to consider. Since you want the same font to used for all your pet buttons, do you want me to use the same size too? There are a few ways to go about this:

1. Largest font size that can accommodate the longest name. Short names will probably stay within the headshot.
2. Largest font size fits the shortest name. Longer names will be narrowed while leaving the heights unchanged.
3. Use different sizes to accommodate different name lengths. Buttons will look uneven.

Looks great! I think I prefer it regular, not bolded. And I suppose option 1 would look the most uniform, right? I don't mind if the name ends up being completely inside, if that's what has to happen.
But perhaps the names could be moved up a few pixels so they all sort of "stretch" the circle like how you have it? I dunno, just an idea!

[edit] I decided to go ahead and work on the other buttons. Had to shrink the font to keep the buttons uniform because some of the names are really long.

The text on some of the buttons aren't clear due to a lack of color contrast. Let me know if you want to change the colors. Please provide the hex codes if you want something specific.

Oh thanks! On the ones that are too short, I would say go ahead and lower them and just don't make them bulge at all, haha. The long ones are great though! Except Babci and Submarine are white text, I would like them to be that blue/turquoise color. And do you think you could put a thin black border around the letters?

I thought I would have them half one color combo and half the other, but with the pet's colors they just don't work out that way haha.

Hi, I don't know if you realize this -- I made the buttons to your specifications (e.g. you requested for white text unless they look odd) and modified them subsequently at your request without charging extra (adding of borders, changing of alignment, etc). All these involved editing each button one by one. I'm sorry to say this, but any further edits to the existing buttons will be charged as a new button.

I will do one more pet button for you (no change in price to ), because that was what you ordered. Let me know if you want it to be Chives or Ultraviolence. If you'd like to have both done, the second button will cost 200k.

1. All buttons to be in blue border and green text
2. Add a thin white border around the black border of the green text
3. Replace Smoldering's button with Chives'
