Can we please have a warning? I just jumped by accident to level 15 and I lost EXP points for today.. :(
I use css to remove it, I'll share that with you if you want.
Warning would be appreciated but I just don't see a reason for the jump anyway. It needs some more thought put into it.
tbh I think the big, obnoxiously-padded box the 'Jump to Level 15' option is in is warning enough?
maybe that's just me

the css would be great, thanks! :)
Yeah I don't like this option, never used, only by accident.. are people still using it?
/*removes bq jump button */
.ui.basic.button[href="/games/battle/quest.php/jump"]{
display: none;
}
the jump button only makes sense to use if you're in a hurry and have to finish quests in a short period of time, but you want only the more exp concentrated quests. even then, the first 15 quests can be finished so quickly as I can one hit almost every quest. I'm not actually sure if jumping is beneficial.
Thanks! :)
Yes exactly, I finish the first 20 in less than 5 minutes..
When the mouse is on the blue box, it's sufficient to do one scroll-down by accident and to reach the jump box..
I just got back into battle quests, and I've been using the jump button because I can't be bothered to grind through the first 15 low level quests. :P
I wish BQs were still random. I find them so boring the way they are now.

ooh ok I understand "^_^
Yeah I agree that they are kinda boring right now..
It being a big button shockingly makes it easier to hit by accident.
If you can't be assed to do the first 15 because they're low tiered, how would it be better to possibly get nothing/near nothing but low tiered opponents ? The way it is fixed that problem, along with low-tiered pets getting an annoying amount of impossible opponents.
I always found it easier to avoid (especially since the other button is blue), but I suppose if you're in 'go go go!' mode your brain can be a bit of a dick LOL
I think it might work as well if they just nudged it a bit further down the page, or if they made the 'Jump' button that ugly red like lots of the other buttons around site are?

Also being colorblind (I am not), and having a dick of a mouse that likes to jump around and an automatic enter-happy finger because of a 'hurry get done' mentality (which I do, my mouse is a dick and my finger is a cunt).
I think moving it would be best, personally.
It's the gamble, I think. You might get a string of low-tiered opponents, but you could also get Prodigy twice in a row or something awesome. It keeps things interesting when BQs are random like that. That's why people lose themselves in casinos.
Compare that to now, when you know the first 15 quests are going to be low-tiered. There's no excitement in it, and it feels more like a chore to me.
Efficient is not always more fun. :(

Differing opinions, ahaha I don't think random is exciting. I like guarantees. If you can only battle up to a certain level, it's a guaranteed amount per day. If you can take on all of the opponents, then awesome. Personally I like battling the smaller ones because it means racking up a bit more experience. They're fast and I'm that much closer to another health point.
BQs aren't fun anyway. It's fighting the same handful opponents every day with no sP rewards and lame maleria quest item prizes. I do, though, like the fact that I am promised 26k exp a day. It lets me plan ahead and I never feel cheated. Since they were revamped I believe I have done them every day except one where I got 20something done because I was on vacation or something.
Sometimes, by the time I get to battle quests, I only have 5 – 10 minutes left before midnight. I can get more exp with those minutes if I skip to 15, so I appreciate it's there (I wish there was an option to start with level 30 and work backward, but ah well). That said, I think a warning is a good idea.
I'm opposed to pretty much any confirm button, I think there are too many. This particular one wouldn't affect me to much, the button is huge and easy to see to avoid, and my fingers can jitter with arthritis and I never seem to strike this button wrong unlike Major Drills where they're right near each other.
I don't see this so much as a game mechanic thing so much as a role playing thing. Just like Major Drills you are playing a game of following instructions, with Reichsen you are playing a game of following his training regimen. Do as he says and get your results. Beg off from training, he's not going to coddle you.
the point is the the jump is not a part of the game, it's a solution for those who don't want to do the first 15. It's not supposed to be a challenge to avoid it or to be very very careful not to click it.. My mistake was a accidental scroll with the mouse haha
I want to do the 30 quests, this solution is not for me and shouldn't interapt my training, but unfortunately sometimes it does.
And the problem is that it big and too close to the blue button, one scroll and you reach it...
