So ive been off for 3 years. I dont even know where to start! Im still using my old HA, which was, by then concidered CHIC standard (are they still around?!) But i am noticing, so, SOOO much more potential and choises today!

So many new things! And I am totally overwhelmed. Seems like the most good ol' HA-creating sites are down too!

Any suggestions on a set or cheap wardrobe basics thats must-have? Just hit me with any suggestion youve got that can help me out!

One more question, whats "fashion" these days? Back in my time it was based around real life fashion.. im seeing more of a fantasy theme around now, though.

There used to be at least 3 which i forgot the name of, but subetalodge used to have way more features. (searched for them yesterday - experience brain fart today! Sorry!). They were the craze back-when. But i think you can (or could) show "all" items in wardrobe on Subeta? Its not working for me at the moment though.

Hi! I recently came back from a 2 year hiatus myself so I feel you.

Yeah you're probably remembering Arvee but it was taken down. With the 'All items' feature on subeta now it's not really needed anyways. Your HA definitely brings me back in time haha. Chic is still around though they're not as active, though I guess that's the reality for a lot of cults. People aren't as into HAs as they used to be, in the sense that it used to feel like elite groups of HA people and I find that's not really true anymore?

Fantasy kicked in mostly because of custom wears (the wearables users upload themselves on the site) but it's died down a bit from its peak. Punk HAs and space stuff is still pretty strong. Tbh I hang out with the CW people and the pet peoples so maybe that's why I'm a tiny bit out of it but HA making definitely isn't the 'status' thing it used to be. Although I myself love the freedom and fun of custom wears so you might want to check into that if you love HAs!

That's possible, I've been around for a while haha. Your HA looks great! Hard to make them when you don't know the items anymore too!

Ehhh maybe don't buy thousands hahaha. Look in the pawn shop, in CW shops, on people's WLs as well, it should give you a good idea of what's out there! If you need any info on particular items drop me a comment whenever you need c:

i'm back from a hiatus recently myself as well! i've been back for about a week, although i have popped in once or twice in the last year or two to make an avatar and then promptly disappear into the abyss again. chic is still around, though tania is right in that numbers have dwindled. style-file.org IS still around, but its website (along with chic's) are down at the moment :( i'm in the same boat as far as cws go. there are just so many, it's definitely overwhelming. i'm working on just acquiring non-cw wears i've missed out on and selling my old outdated cws in an effort to get some new ones.

i'd start vending if i were you! that'll help you get a handle on some of the new cheap wears.

Welcome back! Fashion cults are much less prominent now then they were 3 years ago. Current trends and standards are most definitely dictated by CWs. I would check out SubetaLodge to get caught up on official and custom wearables.

I have definitely seen a lot of people dressing for events and seasons, but there are also many that do it for cosplays or even just to fit their personalities, so i don't really see any kind of chic setting around or maybe that is just because I am so in awe of everyone's HAs that I just don't notice trends??

Definately using the all tab on the wardrobe now is my favorite way to find wearbles that I like, If i see one i fancy i just copy the name and search for it in the shop search! Also, weekend questing is a great way to earn some extra change for the fun stuff.

PS everyone in here has such lovely HAs right now. I want s pants please. Lol

I'm also back! My question is, how do we remove our old skins? I can't seem to do it in the wardrobe like I expected. It won't update me off of the Avatar skin.
