"There are no items stocked :("

I don't know if it's just me, but when I see this phrase in the Migrating Masks shop every time I click in there, it makes me frustrated. I know this can be explained by either a) I have horrible luck or b) I'm bad at restocking, but can I just put forward a suggestion that Migrating Masks can restock more often OR restock more at a time so that I can get a pretty (ideally new) mask for the event without paying millions? Given that Migrating Masks is only open during the event, there's a huge possibility that item prices will jack up to ridiculous numbers after this event.

I've not had trouble picking up things, but I have been putting in a real effort to catch restocks. The shop has been open for less than two days; everything is going to be bought up quickly. You'd have to be pretty lucky to catch a restock just turning up every now and then. I'd be open to maybe upping restocks towards the end of the event, but not right at the start.

Sometimes when there's not that many people online (early morning Subeta time), the wait between restocks can be well over 20 minutes, which is a bit annoying, but other than that I don't have any complaints. I've managed to snag a couple of new masks and some older ones, and I usually suck at rsing :D

A friend and I were saying we'd be happier if Masks were like the GoOutside store, where the stock is just static.

But yeah, what everyone else said, too. It's nuts right now but it should calm down in a few days and you'll see more stock in there more often.

i'm bad at restocking but have managed to snag a couple, but i also got some from questing today! i think right now it's just fresh event excitement that has more people than usual checking it (i mean like more than it would normally have if it were a year round shop again)

I was restocking them without an issue when I actually tried yesterday. you just gotta sit there refreshing until the shop stocks. yes it is boring. you can vend most of them as long as their rarity is low enough, or you can buy them too from other users.

I think it's stocking ok. I just popped in and grabbed three masks my first go. Yes it takes forever to restock once it's empty, but I think it helps keep the masks more uncommon. Maybe they can speed up the stocking a bit near the end of the event instead of through the whole thing?

It shouldn't restock more often than other shops. I caught a restock and didn't manage to get an item, but everybody wants them. Making them restock more often won't help you, the same people are still restocking in it and you just gotta get lucky and catch one the second it appears. Everybody has the same chance.

I would support a greater amount of items being stocked, though. There are obviously many, many people interested in restocking there and considering it's only open during this time of year it would be appropriate to increase it.

Just to have a chance to even the price out, because 'normal' masks are priced at millions while rare old masks might only be priced at 200k. The retired prices should be in sync with the rarity, at least that's how I see it.

I am awful at restocking, but I managed to grab a few of the new rare masks that I really wanted. However, I also sat there and dedicated time to refreshing and watching the shop. I don't necessarily see a problem with doing this. I realize not everyone wants to sit around and wait for the shop to restock, but the event did just start and there are new items people want. It's going to get quite busy and difficult to grab things.

By the same token, there are plenty of Masquerade-approved masks out there (and nice ones) that you can buy for ~5k in user shops, so you're not being forced from the event if you can't catch a restock. I wouldn't say no to increased stock, but I'm not sure it would make that much of a difference. I think with time, the shop will cool down and it'll be more accessible if you don't feel like waiting for a restock.

That's good! I just thought I'd mention it, as I wasn't sure if you were looking for a mask to participate. But no, I definitely understand the frustration with wanting new stuff and having a hard time getting it. Everyone is vying for them right now. I only mention not being sure if extra restocks would help because you would still have people monopolizing on that shop just because of its seasonal nature.

I have faith that things will stabilize a bit and you'll have a better chance at getting the masks you want, though. :D

Instead of changing the way it restocks, I'd rather like it if Migrating Masks was opened to business a few days before the Masquerade itself starts. That way people (who are already anxious to get the party going) could get some masks and prepare their looks ^^

Migrating Masks and Freyalise Trading Company are both insane pretty much the entire time they are open, though they do slow down a bit towards the end of the event.

I basically agree with what said though I think it should be open a bit longer. I'd like to see Migrating Masks open up a week prior to Masquerade, which would give people some time to get their looks together (because basically we're all celebrities going to a red carpet event -struts-) and make that shop feel less like Black Friday IRL.

Small note, but I'd be very disappointed if Migrating Masks moved to having a static stock. With the Holiday Shop gone, there are now so few chances for this sort of restocking for nice things. I think it's just this and Freyalise, now. It's frustrating, but I really enjoy the challenge and the small sense of achievement when you nab something. If everything's just sitting there, it's no fun.

I haven't had any luck with the masks in the store either. I know.. I already have a lots of mask.. but there is always room for more.

Perhaps I will be more lucky when it nearers the end of the event.

I managed to vend like thirty or thirty-five masks today, and at least five of them were new. Try that.

omfg and if there were retired masks that came back and if it was only open during masquerade that would be totally okay. ;u; Masks from last year are still in the millions so it's not just "hey it's early in the year it's getting bought up quick" it's "there are not enough restocks/ the same people are restocking and charging hella/ not many masks are going out/ the shop clears in 0.3 seconds of restocking and then you have to wait 20 minutes for the next one" kinda deal.

Yes, it sucks that you cannot get everything you want, but it's actually fun to have a seasonal restocking shop as well, even if it's just two weeks. We only have this one and the Freyalise.

Also I think I paid like 800K for my Noktoa mask, so just waits until it deflates. Same with the Black Studded, I didn't pay 5M for that.

I hate restocking (slow reflexes + bad internet = rarely get anything), so I'd be down for it to be a GoOutside kind of deal.
