So I was on this thread and my pings from came in under the "Groups" notification category instead of "Forum Mention"

it's a tiny bug, but I thought it was interesting. I think it has to do with the title of that thread, hopefully this thread is named closely enough that it can be replicated.

if someone can ping me I can test it out and change the title accordingly

[edit]I believe the blank ping I mention below was fixed!

This ping showed up in "Groups" for me, !

your ping also came up in groups!

also I think if you have <> in your thread name, your ping will show up blank (it might be >< actually) another interesting little thing

okay how about this! if it's not this, then I don't remember. it has something to do with angle brackets though.

Still seems like it's working as intended!

well I really wish I could remember what it was that made it go blank xD thanks for helping me test it. I could probably go through a bunch more combinations but it's not important
