Intent:

Sometimes we just need a little time and space to take care of things in Real Life.

Also, it would be a great idea. If you have someone you trust, that can come and tell us. What you would like us to know about your absence otherwise we will be worrying. We understand RL has more importance/priority for each bear, and that is the way it should be.

This thread provides a dedicated area where any Lair Bear may post a notification about an upcoming or ongoing absence from Subeta and Lair activities.

To maintain privacy, NO reasons for their absence are needed, or required. It will be personal choice if they wish to do so.

In this way, any absent Bear will avoid the stress of explanations, or numerous board posts, messages and enquiries as to their whereabouts and well-being. This will also relieve their friends in the Lair of any worries regarding their absence.

At the end of each message, simply post the small bear emoji (showing that the person has not left the Lair ~ just gone into Hibernation Mode). 🐻

Thread Rules:

1. NO intrusion of privacy (Only individuals themselves or a trusted friend with permission to do so should post on this thread ~ may add a time-frame for absence, or leave unknown)

2. NO responses needed (NO questions, NO messages, NO ping-fest)

3. Even when our friends are absent from the Lair, we love keeping them involved in ongoing events (with kisses, dances, candy hearts, etc.). It’s the Lair way of showing how much we miss them and hope to see them back with us. This again will be personal choice ~ simply add a check mark after the bear emoji for YES ✔ or a cross for NO ❌ If you wish for fellow bears to help you during event or not.

Final Thoughts:

1. Posting on this thread is completely voluntary. The Lair is here for you when you need us and we respect anyone’s need for complete privacy if you do not wish to do so.

2. For those Lairbears in other countries outside of the U.S.: if your not sure or dont understand something in thread please contact SeriousGreen or Sydney we will be happy to help, if they can.

3. Laurie is posting it in the Lairs private sector but from there this thread will be monitored by SeriousGreen and Sydney.

🐻 ✔ From the 13th of May until the 20th of May, I will be in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt with no internet, I would appreciate help on any event that happens during this time frame.

I think I'm going to be able to be back for a bit. Not sure how long. We are going to be going back to Arizona sometime soon to bring my Grandfather up to Idaho for an extended stay but he had to get some things of my grandmothers stabilized first. The memorial went fine but while we were down in Arizona my father got very ill and developed pneumonia with sepsis. He was in the hospital for almost a week. He was out for a few days and then we drove home quickly just to get him in his own bed. He is very ill and I'm doing my best to take care of him. It feels super good to be home after being away for so long, even if it's still hectic. Just to sit in my chair and play subeta while he hacks up a lung feels like a luxury. I'll post again when we go to get gramps. Until then, my prayers are with those of you who've lost peeps while I've been away or that struggles have overwhelmed. I'm always thinking of the lair even if I'm not present. But I'll be around for a little. :)

I have been homeless almost 2 years so I have had net off/on currently got brought by a jerk from NH to MO, where I am in a DV shelter the net I have is not good but I am FINALLY getting an apt in early November and by December latest I should have net.

I will be very busy in the next three weeks and so if there's any event that requires help, and I guess that would include the remainder of Morostide, I'd be grateful to get any help.

I also need pumpkins from the 2015 collection as well, but I'll see what I'm actually missing in 3 weeks time.
