Hi there! I've been looking to get back into the roleplaying scene for a while, but haven't really been able to find a partner to accompany me, so I thought I'd give the ol' forums a try.

A little about me (and some guidelines) --

• I'm 21, and would greatly prefer my partners to be over 18. It just makes me more comfortable overall.
• I'm male. I don't care about your gender, but in terms of pairings I prefer mxm!
• I'm fairly literate, and would like it if my partner was as well! I'm not expecting novels, or even multiple paragraphs for every post. Just a knowledge of what word goes where and when to stretch the moment out.
• I'm fine with playing a couple of characters, but I'm better at playing one in particular and sharing NPCs, if that works for you.
• Skype, PM, and email are my preferred mediums!

And here's what I'm interested in roleplaying --

• Anything post-apocalyptic! Nuclear wasteland, frozen tundras, anything goes.
• Anything science fiction! Spaceships, aliens, stuff set in the future, it's all good. I have a particular love of cyperpunk and post-cyberpunk, though they're not necessary.
• I generally love stuff that's unusual. The weirder the better. Human/mermaid? Bullfighters or wrestlers? Something else strange and grotesque? (Some more ideas: circus troupe members, bohemians in 80s New York, surgeon/patient...)
• I'm really not interested in fandoms, except for perhaps playing in the basic worlds of Shadowrun or Fallout. I'm not looking to play canon characters.

hello there! It's been a while since I've roleplayed as well, but I think we have at lot of similar ideas going as far as genres. I'm very much interested in doing something with aliens and I have a bit of a plot idea formulating as well. If you aren't down for that plot though, we can always do something with a post-apocalyptic world or we can do something else in the alien/space world. :]

I am 22 years old, so the age thing is not going to be a problem at all. I'm currently in school, so my priorities lie with that, but I'll do my best to reply at least once a day. If I star to slack off, please send me a reminder email. Also I don't have any limits, so if you do please let me know. I prefer to roleplay over email as well.
