Hey all!

For a while now I've been thinking that my arsenal of weapons could use some additions. After one and a half years of saving (I know, I'm not very fast with this saving, I blame the Swashbuckle that I bought in between) I finally gathered 400 million SP to buy The Ether. Now my question to you guys is, should I buy an Ether, or would it be better to invest my money elsewhere? So far my armory consists of: Yes, my armory is so pathethic that I have to list the Minotaur Knocker as my earth blocker xD

I'm not really interested in Natasha right now, as it costs a small fortune and my PBow is doing fine for now. I'm still hoping to earn my own Cronus Blade, so I'm not looking to buy that one either.

Is it worth it to invest in weapons like The Ether and Ornamented Hook Swords? Or should I save my SP (for a couple of more years xD )and wait for something like Ancestral Unrest or other (future) plot weapons?

I don't have any advice for you, but I wouldn't call your armory pathetic. You have everything I have, PLUS a pbow and volatile mecha, and I think I'm doing pretty good lol

In my thread, I think the hook sword and ether have only been mentioned once so idk if they're super worth it. What are you scrolls like? That can be a fun way to blow through some sp

It's just that I feel like I'm having some weak spots. I've got no real Dark, Light, Magma, Ice or physical blocker, and my Earth blocker could use an upgrade. I'm almost at tier 13, so the light blocker issue will solve itself, and the Cronus Blade is also a matter of time. I just feel that I'm always lacking some blocker to defeat an opponent efficiently. For instance the Mutant Scientist deals mostly earth, water and dark icons. I can only effectively block the water icons. The minotaur knocker just doesn't cut it as an earth blocker, I have better results using the MW + Swashbuckle than MW + knocker xD

I'm pretty happy with my scrolls right now. I could use some more freezing scrolls, but Nightlady has been mean to me the last 3 years, and I only beat General Error after they made the Psycho Smasher an achievement prize, so I'm stuck with one at the moment. I'm currently using: Cobalt Eternal, Sancturia Exodin, Psycho Smasher, Gift of the Forj, Gelaspell, Gale Force and Aftershocks. Using 96/106 alchemy points. I'd love to add The Void to my set, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon :)

Good weapons to invest in are blocks 40 ice and 40 magma heals 9% such a solid weapon honestly approx cost: 35m

blocks 90 light heals 6%-9% the best light blocker anyone can realistically buy approx cost: 125-150m

I personally would grab OHS over the Ether, because good earth blockers are expensive (and I hardly ever use my ether)

If you have the funds available (and are patient enough) you can try to buy blocks 50 dark and 50 earth and heals 12% if your def is higher than your str. It's one of the best weapons on subeta in my opinion.

I believe I was the last person to buy one and offered 3b to multiple users and got rejected before finally finding a seller, but it was worth it.

I'm currently 1057 stats away from tier 13 and the achievement that'll give me a Dark Goddess Rod. I've got some exp saved up too, so if I could just move my lazy butt and do battle quests for two weeks, I'd get there :)

The Ehter generates random MC weapons, right? You never use it as a form of stealing protection either? Hmm, I'll have to look into the opponents that I'm still trying to defeat, whether they deal more earth or more physical damage.

I'm afraid the skull staff is a bit out of my budget at the moment. I can try to save up more SP, but by the time I have enough, all of the staves on site will have disappeared. But I'm pretty sure that by that time other new and interesting weapons will have appeared that will be in that price range.

Yeah definitely more stuff will pop up. And yeah it generates all legendary combos which definitely can be useful as steal fodder, I personally have a ton of freezing scrolls so I don't really need to protect from stealing as much because I chain freeze.

If that did become an issue though BoNA tear crystals are worth adding to your weapons.

I personally prefer OHS over the Ether because more opponents deal earth than physical, and it's hard to find a good earth blocker.

but if you ever run into a stealing strong physical opponent then Ether would come in handy lol.
