Snowballs don't show up for very long after someone throws one at you, maybe just for 5-10 minutes? I never really took the time to check before :P

You're missing out then :D You can buy snowballs here and throw them at people from here during the winter months (late December through late March). You can try throwing some at me if you'd like. Different snowballs do different things to HAs :)
