I just think it should be posted somewhere that kissing someone multiple times in one turn by clicking the kiss button rapidly is abusing a glitch. I hate to see people get in trouble for something that's been a glitch for years, but never really enforced until this year. (as far as I'm told)
....that's all.
Also I hope this was the right place to put this since it's really a PSA.
Okay. Seriously. That's all. xxoo
^ I approve this message and I hope something can be done about the glitch in question.

i though abusing fast click is not a glitch? am i wrong?
The fast clicking itself is a glitch. Whether it's considered abuse or not is a different question. Using it to get prizes without the wait time for kisses is considered abusing it (since the wait time is there to stop people getting them instantly). If you're thinking about the snowman contest, it wasn't considered abuse in that context because there was no wait time in place anyway and people were still paying for those items.
Staff didn't punish anyone for it with the recent contest, but they have apparently been punishing people for this event.
This has been reported to staff. Please try and avoid multi-clicking when kissing as it may be considered bug abuse.
This should be put in the news... since people are getting frozen over this.. Maybe not everyone sees it as a glitch? so people are not even getting a warning about it.
Yes it is in the rules. But if no one sees that as a glitch/bug.. then how will anyone know?
Especially after Staff let people abuse the Mystery Box glitch without punishment
♥ [flower=owl] ♥
Which is precisely why I fought so much to get them to properly call what happened with the mystery box a glitch and cheating, even if nothing would ever be done about it and even if it didn't impact the outcome
I guess since the uproar over the Mystery Box glitch, staff's been hyper aware of things going on. But still they managed to swing from one extreme of nothing being done to the other of everything being done.
Maybe this should go more into Site Feedback now?

Wow! Just wow! I'm glad I'm stupid and never figure out glitches! :-P
I don't think it's the best idea to publicly post glitches like this, you're just teaching more people about them...
But yeah, abusing glitches is frowned upon and could very easily lead to punishments. That should be common knowledge, even if the staff is more than kind in these cases.
I'm posting about it because it's been a glitch since at least last year and multiple people told me about it. AND people are getting frozen for it, so since the glitch is, from what I've seen, common knowledge I thought warning people not to do something that hasn't previously resulted in punishment would be a good idea. ;)
Yikes. I've multi clicked kiss buttons before, usually because chrome does the thing where hovering over a link doesn't change the cursor to it being a clickable button, or it straight up freezes but act like its working, which is few and far between, but still. but i've only gotten stuff from it once and an error after it if the other clicks goes through. :x i would really hate for an instance of that actually being an accident/technology being a pain, and getting frozen, or worse thinking because it was acceptable for the snowman contest, it wasn't wrong this time. just, yikes.
he/it | I'm afraid I'm a bit lost around here. | | |
I would assume the difference between the snowman glitch and the kissing glitch is that there was no wait time in place in the Mystery Box, and whoever used it still paid the same prices as everyone for the items they received.
This glitch is different because users are purposefully getting around the wait time for kissing by fast clicking - which is obviously not allowed.
There may not be a wait time on the mystery box but if you clicked the link, waited half a second and then tried to click it again, you would get an error message saying something like, that item no longer exists. People spam clicking the mystery box were technically getting around the error message to prevent people from buying multiple of the same item. The only difference here is you don't pay for candy hearts through kissing. If staff is defining a glitch or bug as getting around a prevention error message then they are the same.
I didn't even know this was possible and I'm honestly glad I didn't. Seriously, if you can't wait a few minutes to kiss again what the heck.

Yeah the only reason I know a message existed was because on a couple of occasions when I tried to click and buy an item, either the site was laggy or my computer was laggy, so I clicked it again in case the first click timed out. That's when I would see the error message showing that I already bought it.
