If you haven't played 2048 give it a try... It quick to pick up.
The goal in the game is to match like numbers. You do this by 'tilting' the board so that all of the numbers slide in the same direction. When two of the same number slide into each other, they become the sum of themselves.
2+2=4 4+4=8 8+8=16...
You get the idea.
And adaption could be created that, instead of numbers, could use Subeta related concepts. Some of the items could be...
Potion Drops Matter Minions Steamwork Components FOODS...
The options are endless so far as themes go. Some other ideas to be added to the game is a way to 'clear' some of the pieces once you get a tile with a certain tier level. I'll show this using 'Potion Drops' as the base concept.
First you need to set the tiers for the pieces.
Tier - Color 1 - Common 2 - Dusk 3 - Field 4 - Gold 5 - Sun 6 - Cherry 7 - Storm 8 - Spectrum
The board starts with two drops of low tiers, Common or Dusk. When two of the same tier slide into each other, they merge and advance to the next tier drop. Once you get a drop advanced all the way to tier 8, there is a small explosion, clearing part of the board...
May need to work this concept out a bit more, but I like to think it has a bit of potential.
==================================== EDIT - Scoring and Game Modes ==========================
Different game types or scoring methods...
TRADITIONAL: For the 'traditional' version, there would be no explosion, and the game would end when no more moves/matches are available. To score that, I'd suggest counting up all of the board pieces and assigning a score based on how many of each tier are on the board. t1 = x10 t2 = x100 t3 = x1000 So, if you have 3 t1's, 2 t2's, and 4 t3's, the score would be (3x10)+(2x100)+(4x1000) = 4230.
ADVENTURE: In Adventure Mode (or some other name?), once the player has created the highest tier drop possible, it would explode. This could destroy other drops with in conjunction of the exploding drop (8 may be too many tiers for this mode...) and allow for longer game play.
Since drops are vanishing, the scoring method from the 'traditional' mode would not be the best idea. Perhaps then a scoring style that instead of adding up all the drops on the board at the end, the player gets points for drops CLEARED from the board. So, when the player creates a tier 2 drop by combining two tier 1 drops, they get a score of 2x10.
Challenge: The Challenge game mode could have 'frozen' drops, or cubes, or blocks that match certain tier levels but do not move. To get rid of them, the player would have to match them with the corresponding drop.
Other ideas may be forthcoming!!! Any feed back is appreciated.
I had never heard of this game but after playing it a few times, I definitely wouldn't mind having a version on Subeta. It's pretty fun and relaxing :D

A subeta 2048 would destroy my life... so i totally vote for this!
I have the 2048+ on my phone to go past 2048, it's a 6x6 screen instead of a 4x4.

I was thinking there could be various board sizes, from 4x4 to maybe 6x6 or higher.
This could be fun and I definitely support more games on site!
So, how would we go about drawing some attention to this game suggestion?
i like threes better than 2048, both gameplay-wise and aesthetically, but i won't argue against a threes or 2048-clone on subeta, p: so, glad to support, but i'm not sure what the best way to draw attention would be...? maybe have it in your signature, or something?
