After I was done with one of this year's strains, I never opted to choose anything else; not random, not specific, not...anything. Yet somehow I was listed as open to being bitten (someone told me they infected me) and I've now been infected with Bindi Bite which I have no desire to have and am now being forced to pay 1M to get rid of it! This is not fair and I would like to know what's going on! :( :/

it seems like there was a glitch for some users where directly after your first strain was complete and the skin was claimed you were signed up for a random one (without you even clicking...) and that's why people were allowed to bite and infect you. I had the same issue, I claimed my skin and was immediately re-infected somehow. I just paid the sP to fix it, I don't like waiting around, but I understand you don't want to do that. I believe staff is saying file a ticket about it. :)

I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I had heard that this glitch was fixed after the first time around, and it has not been. I just finished a new 2016 strain and was immediately able to be infected again; I opted out before I caught anything and have already chosen a new virus for myself but it's definitely not fixed.

Pretty sure mentioned it was fixed though. Pinging her so she is aware :)

I can't find where it was reported fixed either... may have been in the news comments or something? maybe I made it up in hopes that it got fixed. I'll keep looking o_o

Hi, I'm having the same problem as well. I finished getting the new Death Bloom zombie virus and had it on my avatar for about a day. Then the next time I went to change the clothes on my avatar and had saved it, the skin disappeared. Finally the skin stayed or so I thought and now my avatar is working on another virus. The other day I received a message that stated I'd been matched with an Infection Specialist. I thought maybe it was just a mistake but apparently it's part of this glitch. If it helps the operating system I use is Linux. Here's hoping this get's fixed. Because just like
