Okay so, I was forced to join per my friend - We played Neopets together and well, she threatened my life if I didn't join. True story.

I am extremely interested in collecting and hording items for dressing up my Human Avatar. Plushies, Bean Bags, Books - oh my.

I like metal and rock. I am obsessed with Netflix (TV shows specifically :v)

AND, idk, I figured stating interests was a good way to make friends but I'm not really that interesting o.o;

A few years ago I took a hiatus as well and I remember a lot of hackings and just stupid junk going on! :c As much as I want to have everyone come back to Neo, Subeta is pretty cool, I wouldn't wanna leave here either, yet.

Collecting can be addicting and neverending here. you have designated collection place for plushies, beanbag etc. then you have gallery and pet treasure chest. a lot of people use pet TC as gallery. and the items comes with many themes. it pretty much endless. haha.

thanks :D i'm creepy. haha. yep, restocking is far more easy here and not as cutthroat too. there are no shop ban for visiting main shops too often. but only a few restockable items that worth millions. best not to get obsessed with the few items. i do enjoy restocking here than neo.

To be honest, I'm not really sure! I haven't really played that game. There's always something new to try!

Of course, this site has its frustrating moments. But more often than not, the community is pretty willing to give advice or just to chat!

And don't worry about it - I wasn't really playing Neo much anyways. It was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to say, that made me want to leave. I had some good friends and a good cult there so I'm sad to not talk to them anymore, but that was the main reason why I was sticking around.

Oh - and if you have a question about why you got a warning, it doesn't hurt to ask staff in a ticket what you did wrong and how you can avoid it in the future.

Welcome to Subeta, Chey! I'm Swizzle. I left Neo a long time ago when I was unfairly chain frozen...that was in late 2006 shortly before Neo's massive facelift, and I've been around on Subeta ever since. I've found that I like this community a lot more (maybe the more mature base? idk). The art is also significantly more aesthetically pleasing and so I have a habit of wanting too many pets.

You'll find that hoarding items for your avatar will be quite easy. I like to browse in the Human Avatar forums to get ideas for new clothes to buy.

I personally don't think pet sites are going out of style, I think most people that were attracted to Neopets liked what it was 7-10 years ago? I feel like they got too caught up trying to please parents of younger children when the had a wide age variety in their users.

Verbal for spamming. Very unusual. They're pretty good about giving you warnings before freezing your account. I too came from Neopets (8 years ago) with a bunch of friends who wanted to give this site a try. Most of us are still here. There are lots to do here. If you want to start battling, we have an awesome battling community. What I love about subeta is that staff will come and chat with you. They will respond to your questions and listen to their members. They post on Facebook and Twitter. They used to have meetups with Keith and staff. Met Keith at Downtown Disney. It really has a nice community. If you need anything just ping me. (7)

Hi there! I quit playing Neo September 2015 after ~10 years and I have no plans to go back. I've wasted too much time on a site that doesn't give a crap about it's users. :/ Subeta is a much nicer community I think. People are nicer and more helpful and it's easier to talk on the forums here than it is on Neo because of filters and nonsense rules and "reporting".

I like Netflix a ton too! If you haven't given Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul a try, I might recommend those. (BrBa first, BCS is a spin off- both are wonderful.)

I was from Neo as well! Played there for 11+ years and finally left when they went through that fiasco of last year. So glad I switched over! Still stop by Neo about once a week, but it's so much more fun here. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming. Plus, there are events here like every week. It's great.

Like said, Staff is so great. They get on the boards and answer questions or joke around with us. It's awesome. There's so much open communication here, I can't even imagine going back to a shitshow of Neo.

Sorry I had missed your comment about the warning You can view your actual posting history here (it's linked in one of your profile widgets), keep in mind that some of the forums such as adoptions and art markets have specific rules stickied to the top of the forum to help keep them tidy. Some of the forums work in a more bulletin like fashion, so that only relevant posts are in the topic.

For example, Welcomes is fairly lax with small talk, as I think it's a nice way for everyone to get to know each other, learn things about the site, etc. However smalltalk posts can be frustrating in sales/adoption threads, as you cannot gauge how popular or busy a thread is from the post count if people are talking about irrelevant things on the thread. It would pay to check out the stickied threads in new forums when you post in them. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you're familiar with the forum guidelines it's actually really helpful for when you actually want to find certain threads/art/pets etc. :)

If you are unclear in any way regarding what you were warned for specifically, you can always file a ticket to clear it up. Our ticket system have fairly fast response times.

Hope this helps clear things up for you a little more :) As long as you heed the warning and take care next time, it shouldn't be anything to worry about.

I also came from Neo. Was an on again, off again user for 10ish years? Ended up meeting some pretty great people there, but I left over a year ago and I don't plan to return. This site is the best <3
