Yeah. I've been playing around with pixel stuff but augh. I cant use SAI for everything it seems, and all the programs I've tried I've really, really disliked (be it the setup was wonky/inconvenient, lagged up the butt. etc.)

I'm looking for a program that:

-Works with Windows 8 -Is offline -Allows importing of sketches (I prefer to import sketches lol.) -Not gonna cost me ten million schmeckles

Optional but not required: -Frames and being able to save in .gif format

Please no trial things. I want a forever program.

If anyone's curious on project content; Undertale and pokemon sprite for the most part.

Have you tried GIMP? It is a free open-source program. It is known to be quite good for pixels. It's a good program overall but pixels are really its thing. There are even plenty tutorials for using it for such.

I am a very very bad pixel maker but did these with it.
