Hello All! I'm toying with the idea of starting a roleplay in the Fallout Universe. If anyone is interested, hit me up!

I would really enjoy this! I played fallout 3, new Vegas, and am currently playing fallout 4

wicked! I'm in the same boat. I've only gotten as far as wanting to play in the Fallout Verse, I have nothing planned beyond that seeing as I only thought of this yesterday. Do you have any ideas?

sometimes it's fun to hash out the plot as you go. What we could do is make interesting characters and get started. The plot comes later, as long as your character has SOME kind of direction. I can take lead, as I am somewhat of a veteran of rping here on subeta, even if my stats aren't that impressive.

I kind of agree. We will need a starting point where all of the beginning characters will meet, which won't be a vault. I don't want this to be too similar to the games. A character can come from a vault, but the beginning won't be in one. And that's ok, I've been roleplaying for years, I'm just new to Subeta. We will also have a loose, light plot. There has to be some direction to keep us flowing.

I might join later on if I like the plot :). I really like the setting, however I personally feel like an RP needs a good plot to be sustainable (unless it's a school RP).

It does need a plot, I'm just saying you don't need a plot to get started. Once all of the characters are out there with a back story and subsequently a direction each one wants to move, the plot will come. I've done it before. It's a bit of a rocky approach, but I've seen it work. That being said we need to spitball here and put something together. So, let's decide on a location first. Ideas?

I'm tracking now. I thought you meant just jumping into the world and running aimlessly. Ok yeah, let's do it this way. I'm leaning towards a familiar setting. I think New Vegas could be fun because of the gambling aspect and the NCR and Caesar's Legion conflict. Boston would be a fun one too because it's still pretty new and we could toy with the Institute and Synth's. Or we could go rogue and pick another large city and make it our own. I'm really liking the idea of New Vegas though. That is where I cast my vote.

I'm cool with whatever. It's your thread so I think we should do the one you suggest. I can adapt to whatever.

We're going to have it set in the New Vegas area. Every place on the New Vegas map will be within our setting, obviously, and if we venture from there we will make it up as we go. Do we wanna start making some characters?

Pretty generic but it allows for an array of different characters and traits and so on. So lets all write them out and then let me know when you have them, I want this to be a blind role play, where our characters meet and we know nothing of each other. Adds to the excitement of it all. So y'all just let me know when your done and I will drop our first setting on us and we will be off to the races!

I am still very interested in this. I changed it to the Commonwealth instead of New Vegas and all I have left to do is make a character. I'm not sure if is ready but I have a feeling that they are. Just hit me up when your ready and we can get started.
