Thousands of years in the past some of humanity left the Earth, abandoning the rest as they felt them unworthy. The humans that remained were forced to survive the changing planet on their on. Soon the planet was beset by plagues leaving the remaining humans forced to change so that they could survive.

Through trial and error, a process using genetic manipulation was found to allow a person to change into any animal at will. The humans on Earth now called themselves Drethiveal and the process of changing was called Aveal.

The new inhabitants of Earth changed names of places in their distaste of what species they had once been. Human became the foulest word a person could speak.

It had seemed that humans and Drethiveal would leave each other alone until Buteo Ralph finds that humans are returning. He soon finds that he must become what he had never wanted to be: a warrior.

Life is Strange is basically a possible murder mystery with time traveling thrown in. Though I consider it a coming of age tale in its own STRANGE wayXD

Stuff like this is why feedback is needed so I know what to clarify in upcoming chapters n.n

But as for Buteo's looks...I never think too much on descriptions. He has a red butt as that never goes away no matter how much he tries. As Dreth do spend the majority of their time outside I would say he'd have a little tan but he is white.

ahh ok ..so are we talking both are males here as a couple then? hoping to adopt, right? ..i have no problem with that in the least it's just at the start it just leads you to believe them to be a couple but no reference is made to the gender so it seems frank is a males name so the other would be female, i guess just because of society or it being the 'norm' if there is a norm lol so i guess i'm thinking it would be nice to be told something to that effect in the beginning so in certain parts it wouldn't be confusing .. have i lost you here in trying to explain or i'm lost most likely lol ..it is late lol :P

Yeah, everyone being assumed straight is a norm and something I knew I'd have to deal with in the first chapter.

That's what the "be the father" line was supposed to help indicate as well as the "butt buddy" line.

I don't want to come out and blatantly say "HEY! I'M A GUY!!!!" because that would be really bad writing.

I don't like to edit past chapters I put up or else I'd NEVER get anything else done because one change would lead to about 50 moreXD

2 years later and Chapter 2 wouldn't have any more work done to itXD

So I will work on indicating Buteo is a guy in chapter 2. Have already made slight alterations to the dialogue.

Updated the outline for Chapter 2 to basically have a character call Buteo and Frank's relationship same-sex. Might change the wording from same-sex to gay in the chapter.

So if you're not satisfied by Chapter 2 I'll go back and edit Chapter 1 :)

Was going to work more on Chapter 2 tonight and then I was like...but I really want to do this one thing in Minecraft...and I've really been doing that all day in preparation for an LP I'm doing with a friend.

At least now I found an area to build instead of wandering, getting lost, and killing every pig I find O.o

lol that's understandable.. i remember doing that on games, even putting my games on pause to go to work if i'd just completed a hard part and not made it to a save point yet :O
