When you create a new HA, what layer do you start adding items to?

Like, do you start from the head?

Do you start from the toe?

For me, I start with either the face or head layer. c:

I defintely start with the head and face.. normally it's a a head piece or wig or something that inspires me to make a new HA. :)

Although next after that is chest.. if I can't find anything appropriate for the chest layer then I give up..

I start with the face layer as well, after that I might jump into getting half the look done before I get the hair right. But most of the time, I do the face then the hair- hmn.

I also have a lot of unfinished ideas because of not having the right things to wear. lol

I start with the layer of the item which I want to try and incorporate into an outfit. So if it's a shirt, then I'll start in chest before moving to bottom, shoes, etc.

This is probably due to my time in Daily Item, when I worked on using different items!

I start with the face and then usually add on hair. Then I try to match my outfit to those two. I'm in love with all the makeup options on here, so I spend most of my time there.

Unless I have something specific in mind that I want to try and make use of, I always start with the chest layer. Then legs > shoes > accessories > face > hair > background

Head or chest for me :)

Often the chest layer, though it varies. I usually start with an item or two I like and want to use or a theme in mind and build off of it from there. Figuring out the face and hair usually winds up being the most difficult and last stage for me, probably because I prefer more masculine looking hairstyles/facial features and I wind up finding so few of them that I like and can afford, lol.

I start with either the hair or the background. Sometimes, if I just bought an item I really want to wear, I'll start with it and go from there :)

Depends. I always start with the most important part of the HA, that could be either hair + accessoire, chest or bottom. Those are the items I pick first any way, followed by face. After that, I choose fitting shoes. Then I'd look for the best leggings to wear if I want to. At the end I choose possible jewelry and other accessoires like backdrops.

i don't really start with a specific layer. normally it all starts with some kind of either item combo or just one specific thing i want to use, and from there i build around it.

Usually I start with a item and I work around it, but if I want to make a themed HA I start with face/head

I usually start with the face. From there I pick a color and work my way from there.

I typically start with an item that inspires me and then work from there. When building HAs in general, though, I try to find the Chest/Bottoms first because that's always the hardest part for me. I can always find hair and faces and accessories like shoes that I like but getting the Chest/Bottoms combo to work is hard sometimes.
