I love Caliph's Tomb and would like to play it all the time, but the card flicker can be very hard on my eyes and can make the game hard/impossible to play. It only gets worse when I resize the screen to make the cards large enough for me to read. I know this may be an art issue for some, but could we at least have the option to turn the flicker off (sort of like the option to turn off sound or music for other games)? It would certainly be very helpful and much appreciated by me at least.
- I'm not sure what flicker you're talking about. I don't see any kind of flickering or flashing when I play. There are no animations whatsoever.
I wonder if it might be some kind of lag on your end?

- Thanks for the response. I suppose there could be something like that going on - but I see it on both my faster desktop and slower laptop. Also, I don't see it anywhere else on Subeta, so at least something about the game itself must be involved. For what it's worth, both computers are running Chrome on Windows 7 machines.
I also don't see any kind of flicker. It would be nice, though, if the cumulative score achievement was actually fixed.
Am currently playing Caliph's Tomb. The cards and the words about how many cards are left and that whole area flickers for me. The New Game and Save Game buttons, the navigation above the game (How to Play, ...) the achievement information below the game, and the sidebar do not flicker, nor does the ad at the top of the page. I would think, if it was just some sort of lag on my computer, that the whole screen would flicker. Again, I don't have this issue with other games or pages on Subeta that I have noticed, but only with Caliph's Tomb, and it happens on computers with different graphic speeds. I wonder what could be causing this to happen.
I just tried it again and I don't have any sort of flicker. I'm sorry I'm not helpful as I don't have any idea what would be causing it on your end. I avoid that game because none of the staff seems to care about fixing the achievement issues with it.
- thank you for your response. I just play it because I enjoy the game, but it would be nice if the achievements worked as well.
Since it's unlikely this is intentional, kicking this over to P&B.
- okay - thank you.
Hmmm - just Caliph's Tomb on my faster desktop computer, and didn't notice any flickering this time even when I enlarged the screen. I see it all the time on my slower laptop, so maybe there is some sort of lag involved. Still must have something to do with the game itself, since the flicker is only on certain parts of the screen and only on this particular game. Interesting.
