That indeed! I am particularly drawn to ambient, ambient house and trance, though I consider myself very amateur at all of them ;w; I do not know anyone with this hobby nor do I know anyone who writes their own non-electronic music, so I don't really have anyone to talk about it with, and I'd like to change that! I find it a huge struggle to improve and I get stuck a lot ;^; It's a lot more difficult to find decent tutorials with than it is for art - Plus, I don't currently have any external hardware like a midi keyboard or synths/drum machines/effects units etc. so everything I create is purely within the software I use (Reason 5, currently learning FL Studio too).
Edit: This is my latest WIP on my Soundcloud! : Link
If you're reading this and have a soundcloud account, feel free to link it below! It'd be neat to get a small network of Subetans going on there w My current goal is to create a few tracks to make a worthy soundtrack for an RPG I'd like to code with some of my other compsci buds at uni, but I think I'm a way off that at the moment c:
You make some really nice tracks. OuO I have a Soundcloud as well, but I never post anything I make there, mainly because I really don't think anything I make is good enough for it.
Super awesome! Could totally see that in an RPG soundtrack
I saw, but you should post them anyway! I've never seen anyone get awful comments on Soundcloud unlike if you posted your music to youtube xP Ahh thank you ;w; Still needs a lot of work but I'll get there eventually haha
Well I think it's solid so far! Btw your HA is awesome! Super electronic ambient "take you outta this universe with my music"-y
Ah! I actually got gifted a lot of the items on my HA at luminaire and I felt like I should use them w
I've been working on a new track actually, a game over theme. I'm not sure how I sit with it as it's not really a lamenting ballad like a lot of RPG game over themes. I plan to have the screen itself to have speech pop up from the current party members asking you to come back and urging you to keep going, so I wanted it to sound a little more uplifting!
