i just got a riptide from ocean depths a few days ago. so far i'm seeing there isn't much of a point in keeping it? i'm T3 and if i get the advice i wont regret selling it, i'm going to try for some better set items.

i don't care about it as a wearable.

it's a nice wearable I guess. for a weapon, you're much better off selling it and buying something better.

I have one I use for my lower pets fighting forj rekindled. A lot of water damage + small fire block is nice.

I'd hang on to it while you're in tier 5. Sell it when you reach 6 and buy a reborn icewand of doom. They are about the same price

i am thinking much the same since i don't have a bunch of sP to drop yet on weapons. only like 20mil.

it doesn't sound like keeping it is worth it, especially if its only super useful for one opponent. freeing up 35-40mil to spend on scrolls and weapons is currently a big deal for me right now.

Weapons won't start getting a bit more expensive until T6 or so. You'd have time to save.

I'd just caution you to be aware of buying overpriced weapons that are a lower tier. Good sets are easy to come by for cheap prices :)

honestly even for forj, there are cheaper options. they may not work as well, but they are a lot cheaper than riptide. you don't need much for weapons right now, t3 stuff isn't too expensive. phoenix quill is probably your most expensive item that you should get, but that's tier 1 and useful forever so it's a good purchase.

i have a phoenix quill already, thankfully. i suppose my riptide sP once it sells will go towards a reborn icewand i will stash until T6.

if you buy the wands separately, you can use one or the other when you're in t5. once you combine them it's a t6 weapon.

Also if you wanted to borrow something before you buy it you can always ask :) you may need to offer collateral but most people are cool lending out weapons
