Hello everyone! I'm not sure if this is allowed or where exactly it should go, so hopefully this is in the right spot.

Recently I was searching dA for a Subeta group to submit art to, and, admittedly, also to check out other peoples previous Subeta art. While I was looking I found quite a few other groups, but when I actually checked them out, they all seemed very inactive with no group updates for about 2 years each.

Anyway! This is basically an interest check. Is there anyone out there that would be interested in a new and active Subeta dA group? I'd love to also be able to do things like weekly/monthly features (depending on how much interest and members we gain), as well as free advertisements for people with commissions open. I'd also be really happy if (in the case we do get a little bit of interest) anyone was interested in helping me run the group to stay active!

So my questions to you are: Would you join a new Subeta dA group if I made one? Would you submit your Subeta-related artworks to this group? Do you have any name suggestions for the group?

I'd be interested in joining a DA group for Subeta. I am a subscriber to DA and I need an excuse to get my tail in gear. I'm just starting subeta, but I have a friend on here that might just motivate me and already I'm seeing gorgeous avatars I want to draw. As for the name, I couldn't say, I assume Subeta alone is taken on DA, I'm sure you can come up with something. ^^;

At any rate, I love drawing avatars and this community is actually ACTIVE for once! I've been on the search for a site with attractive graphics and active people for a while, I shouldn't have let my preconceptions put me off for so long. Dx Shame shame!

I'd definitely be interested in joining+submitting art to it! No idea for the name though XD Maybe something fun? Because the other subeta groups seem to be just things like subeta-fans and stuff like that.

For helping out in running it, what would the tasks be? Because I'd be interested!

Thank you for the interest :D I hope we can create a fun active community that you (and other people) would like to be apart of. I agree with the avatar thing, there are so so many pretty avatars I'd wanna draw at some point.

Awesome, thank you! And yeah I was thinking about that. And the mods duties would be accepting art (so making sure it's subeta related somehow), removing anything that is against any rules and also assisting with answering any questions members have.

For the name, how about something with alliteration or assonance since those make things sound fun easily? Like Subeta 'tatoes (as in potatoes) or something? (literally the first thing I could think of) XD I think it might be best to have the actual word 'subeta' somewhere in the title too because it'll be easier to find when people search for subeta related groups!

I'd consider applications if we got a lot of interest for staff applications, but when the group is open and sorted I'll make a journal about it! And those are really fun and cute ideas! I'm gonna see if I can make the group sometime soon. In the meantime would you like to share your dA account? I'll send you an invite as soon as it's made <3

I just saw this topic but yeah I'd definitely join and help moderate submissions if needed! My dA is tinylaughs. I'm in one of the existing groups, but was bummed to realize how dead it is.

Subscribed to/lurking this thread. I haven't posted anything Subeta to dA but I've been debating and knowing there's an active group out there could sway me towards doing it (given that I have the time over the next couple months. That's a bit up in the air at the moment.) I'll definitely at least follow it if it becomes a thing, though :D

Same as on here, but I'm just going to watch it for now. (Just added it to my watch list, actually!) If I decide to upload some subeta stuff I'll probably create a second account because my current one basically just has some old fanfiction stuff and I want to keep the two separate xD I'll contact you if I decide I'd like to join, though!
