if there is no season 3 i'm going to cry honestly. ; 3 ; the second season was so much better than the first... i can only expect it to get even better from here on haha.

Hey =) I watched both owari no seraph seasons too =) Are you sure there is no 3rd season? What a pity. I will do the same xD At one episode i couldnt wait for the next one, and i read the manga xD I will continue there =) But i still love the anime though.
ehhh nothing's confirmed thus far, but some speculate that if there is it'll be in 2017. ; - ; to be fair though i do have enough anime to keep me busy until then though lol.

THEY WENT OVER THE MANGA and I'm mad. I swear if they screw up the anime .. I'll quit it and follow the manga only. I've seen soo much going south quickly.
Really hated how they portrayed Guren in the last episode.

man i really hated shinoa with a burning passion at first but through season 2 she has grown so much on me. ; u ; i also just love all of the conflicts in the military sub-plot going on omg. it's probably one of my favorite aspects of season 2.
what do you mean they went over the manga? o: haha i feel you. season 1 was... not that good. i'll be dead honest here i only kept on watching because a friend was super into it and said it gets better. but it did and i thoroughly enjoyed season 2 so it paid off. |D
really? i actually liked it quite a lot. though the actual ending did leave me... not exactly disappointed, i guess it kinda made me feel empty? not even necessarily in a bad way, i just didn't feel this great amazing climax i was expecting.
omfg your pets' names i love them a+. does the anime closely follow the manga? i'm considering starting it but i'm not going to start from the beginning if there isn't going to be anything new. u w u

In the manga, we don't see Yuu becoming the King of Salt. We see Kimizuki's sister in her "debut" of transformation, but that's all.
The anime is very true to the manga. If you hated the first season .. well it's following the manga. I really like ONS and I've been a fan since day one. I'm just worried about the anime right now. And indeed, Guren was portrayed like an heartless monster, but he showed much more emotions in the manga. It left me with a bad taste in the mouth honestly.

ahhh got'cha! i might not read the manga then. i think the reason why i disliked season 1 so much was because i... never felt like it got anywhere? as a watcher i only really felt satisfied once or twice. which i also felt was such a waste because of the sheer amount of exposition and how fucking amazing episode one was. ; w ; but season 2 redeemed everything i disliked and really in retrospect made me like the first season more haha.

also the sheer contrast between the first two episodes really put me off. i mean episode one introduced this really interesting concept and world and had me genuinely feel things for the characters... and then episode two rolled around and it was a high school drama-esque thing? and i didn't really like the main humans much either at first. also the pacing for the first 7-8 episodes was really weird imo. not necessarily in a bad way, but i found myself thinking 'what is the director thinking? what is the purpose of this?' and 'it could have been better had they done x instead' a lot.
honestly i hate to sound so critical but really the more i criticize something the more i enjoy it lol.
oh yes the art looks beautiful!! i just randomly looked at some pages and i was just like, damn. though i also absolutely loved the anime's art and animation styles too. ❤️

I read seven of the volumes of the manga. I've been meaning to watch the anime but I wanted to finish the manga first. I wasn't aware it was still coming out. :D That's super exciting! I love Mika x Yuu!
