Okay so when I go to battle in the coliseum, one of my pets isn't showing up as able to fight, even though it's stronger than all of my other pets. Am I missing something?

Make sure it's not already in a battle from thr status page. Also make sure it is healed, fed, and happy.

where is the status page? he is def fed, healthy, and happy, so it must be something else...

edit: on the guide page it says if you got the pet from a friend, it can't battle for 30 days. is that the same for adopting it?

Hm adopting it may be the problem. If your pet isn't in a battle already, it is well fed, full health, and happy, then it is probably the 30 days thing.
