so images that are hotlinked via the

are automatically routing to https:// instead of http:// EVEN IF I WRITE HTTP:// IN THE BRACKETS AND NOT HTTPS:// so if the image source's server doesn't support https://, that image is breaking

this is affecting both forums and pet profiles as far as I know.

(NOTE:this issue is occurring if you use html to hotlink/embed an image, but html is not an option when posting on forums)


I have a feeling that this is already in the programmers' radar but I'll just post this here for good measure. Lock when it's fixed etc

Solution: don't hotlink. You just named the problem and the solution. Whether or not something turns up as http or https isn't within Subeta's domain of fixing.
