My first time around Christmas on subeta and I notice there are snowballing achievements and such as well as fairy ones but the snowball machine is off? Anyone know when it is generally available?

What about the fairies, I assume it's a random event to find them and such but either they are very rare or I am just very out of luck since I found none and cannot complete the achievement |D

The fairies are activated, they are indeed a random event, but they aren't that common. Usually I get around 25 a day if I'm online a lot.

The snowball event hasn't started yet. I think I read somewhere that they were working on changing the way how to buy the snowballs, so I don't know if it will open this year or not. If so, I'm sure they'll announce it in the news.

Lol, that was supposed to be 25. I don't think I get as much as 50, even when being online alot, but I haven't exactly counted them either. :)

Yeah, there was a decent Snow Fairy drop rate at the start of Luminaire, but users kept complaining they weren't getting enough of them. The drop rate has been increased twice since then that I know of. I had sold out of all of mine for 9KsP at the start of the season and now have 219, so for me that's around 16 per day over all. The price has dropped from a high of 13K to now around 1K.

Way back when Snow Fairies were first introduced, we'd each be lucky to encounter seven of them throughout the entire three months of winter. I remember buying a Violet one for several million. These Achievements are now a lot more easily gettable, just maybe still not instantly right now in your hand gettable. Flinging an Achievement-amount of snowballs is going to cost you some scrip unless you've got a hoard of them leftover, so save your sP until the Snowtapult opens.
