As of yesterday Drunk Carl has been asking for very high priced items. I've had to quit multiple quests because the price of the items asked for was 500k+sp. Is there some sort of glitch going on?

This time he only asked for one expensive item, the Conference Pear which is 170k. I don't know. I've never not been able to do his quests. I'll see how it goes for the next couple of days.

I did 13/15 quests. Even the ones that asked for 70-90k items, but not the two that asked for 150k+ items. I did lose out on the quests with the expensive items so I'd skip them next time, but I still made 296,050 sP.

He asked me for several items around 200k-500k as well today. I was afraid to even try so I skipped those. This seems unusual to me. I generally don't have to skip any of his quests.

The expensive items were not books or anything that could have been inflated from weekend quest, just Super Rares.

That sounds like it might have to do more with Luminaire gift-giving.

He asked me for Spicy Tortilla Chips and Oofa Fruit Juice Globe just now. The globe is newer, and over 100k, and the chips (I believe they're pretty old?) were over 300k. It's been like this for the past week or so.

I had to learn the hard way not to be too trigger happy when buying for his quests.

Today was much, much better. He asked for mostly Really Common to Rare items instead of so many Super Rares.

Only had to quit 3 today, though I did lose a little sp on a couple of others. Made a decent profit at the end.

this sounds like its exactly as its sposed to be? quests arent sposed to be 100% profit everytime.. and some items are inflated for luminaire
