Seeking feedback on this one to see what people's opinions are on both interest in the CW and preference on the overlay's positioning. Sonatine and I are working on a tribute to the South Park woodland critters for Lumi (here's the main ref), so to start off with I was wondering how many people might be interested in this tribute?

The second question if you are interested in the CW is whether you have a preference to the critters being positioned in front of the HA or behind the HA? It's unfortunately not possible to make them interchangeable without adding a piece of ground to the overlay, and while I'm admittedly leaning toward the version in front of the HA I'd like to see what everyone else would prefer. :)

Anyway, I think the in front is more useable. Especially as you can then layer it behind the HA if wanted, if it were behind there would be no way to just have them showing/block the HA like many do.

Though I dont often use companions ;u; so even though I love those little butts I probably wouldnt buy it. But Im sure many others would!

Thanks for the input! The only problem with the front version is that their lower ends stick out under the HA's feet, so they pretty much will only work in front or in back dependent on where they are positioned on the overlay. Right now the front is winning out. :) Crossing my fingers you're right that others are interested too. Thanks again for your feedback!

Yeah Im sure people will, its exciting to see even non SP fans wanting it haha. Tributes seem to do well in general ;D And people here love critters.

Im sure if they stick out a bit it can be worked with. There are some ground items/skirts and all that could layer well. In general I think like the new bgs, anything ground/foreground/etc is best off made on top of the ava. It just has so many possibilities for layering 8D

I'm hesitant to say I'd be interested because I never use companions, but I may take a slot anyway idk xD But i prefer them in front of the HA so you could use them without an HA all together

I'm going to wait to see if there's more interest in this one before moving it forward though. It's unfortunately a very pricey commission (my most expensive yet actually for a single CW), so I need to be able to fill it up enough to help justify having it made. I'd have to up the price otherwise, and that option isn't very attractive to me.

If it's a matter of getting it onsite you can definitely put me down for a slot c: I'd probably take one anyway because I'm a really bad impulse buyer even though it's companions lmao

Suggestion time. Set them in front since we can layer them behind if we like HOWEVER, put them at the same placement as if you were planning to layer them behind so that if someone chooses to do so, they don't stick out funny beneath the feets!

I'll take them any day. :) Sonatine and I played around with placement, and the problem we've run into is that no matter where they are placed they either stick out under the HA's feet (when drawn for the front and placed behind) or they sit above the feet altogether (when drawn in the position behind the HA and then relayered to sit in front). It's also unfortunately not possible to line them up with the lowest pixels of the HA because there are just too many animals to place, which leads to more feet issues with each configuration we've tried. The last option we considered was adding in a piece of ground to cover the feet area, but in the end that will make them more difficult to use with backgrounds (I think they'd look kinda strange without a background in that case too, but that's just preference ;)). I would LOVE to get them positioned to be interchangeable from front to back, but we keep running into issues with each option unfortunately. If it wasn't going to be so expensive I'd separate them out as individual companions to solve the problem, but then the cost would be exorbitant for people to buy them all. :P

Ah damn, I thought that might end up being an issue =/ In front is still mostly better, you can use things to obscure the foot area they'd stick out in if you decided to layer them behind that way.

I WOULD TOTALLY BUY IT. Love those satanic fluffballs. What would you plan on charging if you are ever able to make them?
