This has been suggested before, but the MC widget could still use some improvement. Right now, it displays the same wreath image before and after you've collected your daily gift, which isn't helpful. Could it be made to use different images so they're more of a visual status message, the way the Coda Caves widget does with the crystal images?

I know the text is updated to say "You've collected today," but a changing image would make it easier to tell at a glance whether you've collected or not.

I like the closed / open boxes suggestion! It's pretty obvious that someone has or hasn't opened melody's gift for the day then! :)

Also, can the widget be changed slightly so that it ALWAYS links to Melody, not just when you still need to collect for the day? I would love to have a link there for when I want to go buy ornaments, but once you collect, the link is gone. :/

I don't use the widget but this would be super helpful~ c: I personally like the closed/open gift boxes, I feel like it's the most easily recognizeable but I also don't use the widget so ;P

Definitely support using the closed/opened box images. Having it be a static image doesn't make much sense.

I would much rather it be like the Oracle widget, where it's just a single line of text if you don't currently have an Oracle quest. It's a very strong visual clue, much more so than having two different images for before/after.

I love the idea of an icon that changes after you've collected - I tend to get so used to seeing the wreath that I don't always think to check the text underneath when I get online in the morning, so a different image (particularly love the wrapped / unwrapped gift idea) would make it really clear :D
