Hi! I'm pretty new to CWs but I'm wondering how many of you would be interested in a new makeup I'm commissioning! I personally have found it hard to find makeup that I really like that aren't private, or old with almost no more copies around or for sale. SO. I decided I wanted to put something on site that looks kinda like this:

The shadow portion will have a glitter effect (silverish-gold), but not to the point to where it's overpowering the mascara you know? the lashes are going to be defined, but not spidery, as I'm a big fan of curled lashes! There will also be a light blush under the eye. Similar to the

In general, I love makeup and almost always slot if it's versatile enough for me. I do a lot of layering. I can't promise I'll slot until I see it, but I'm interested. ^.^ You can ping me when you're ready to release and I'll definitely take a look.

Also, what Cathii said ~ Customwear should only be pinged for the release, not interest checks. I don't mind but it's in the rules and some people may get upset (It's a huge group with several members). I'd create a ping group for your releases (since it'd be your own group, there's really no restrictions on what you'd want to ping for).

Makeup CWs in general gets a lot of interest, but usually you won't know who is interested until you have a preview of the CW since it's rather difficult to create the same look for CWs as real makeup because of how small the eye space on the HA is, so it's really hard to imagine what it'll look like based on just the ref pics. I usually just hoard makeups and then play around with layering to get the look I'm going for, like what you're doing. (I often need 6 layers for my face to get the looks I'm going for). But yeah sometimes it's nice to have it all in one.

I can't wait to see the final product. :) Also, you might do well without the blush under the eye, makes it a bit more versatile and more people might slot on just the makeup, since then people can layer whichever blush they want to, though I know finding the right blush is difficult in itself so sometimes it is nice to have a blush attached to a makeup. You can probably do a poll to see who is interested in it with or without or doesn't mind. Ultimately you should be able to get a batch on site easily because makeup tends to be rather popular.

Same here! I currently have 6 too! Ah, I didn't think of that! :o If anything, I'd just commission a recolor without the blush. I really hope so, I love makeup on here!

That too. I find that makeup ends up being a lot like the shoes, it's so versatile and useful for multiple HAs that people just tend to not let go of it which then makes it hard to find even if it isn't private.

My 3 most popular makeup releases had around 4-5 batches I think, and they're still so hard to find because so few people like letting go of their copies (and sometimes even those who sell them end up adding them back to their WLs at a later point).

I've definately found that to be true! It's been a struggle trying to find the makeup I wasn't here for when it was released.
