There are tons of face items on subeta with thousands of combinations. I'm really self conscious about making avatars that have the same face as one I've made before so I try for unique faces each time. I guess it's alright if you view your avatar as the same person putting on different outfits, but for me it's like a new character every time I change clothes.

How do you view your avatar? A reflection of you, the same person with different outfits, or a brand new person every time? If you try to make a new person with every outfit are you guilty of using the same face items time and again? Do you become self aware and try to use different items?

I catch myself using the same few face items repeatedly and "retire" the items for a bit before I use them again.

I haven't updated my wardrobe in so long, so pretty much the only face items I use are: (mainly for the eyelashes)

plus a body blush.... I dunno, I think it's hard to find face items I really like, so I just overuse the basic ones, even though I would like to branch out! I also don't put on a lot of makeup irl, so maybe that factors into it too??

I use + + on almost every single HA I make. I change up my lips + the eyes layered on top of the Syne Eyeliner though

Uh...I like using the blank mouth way too much. I imagine most of my ha's just go around sneering at everyone.

I don't make ha's very often anymore, but I like to think aside from my abuse of the blank mouth, I make each face fairly unique. I always use different eyes/blush/freckles/jewelry and whatnot.

There are so few 'dude eyes' I actually like and that's why I use a pair of default eyes (the ones my avatar has right now) like all the time! The same goes with 'dude mouths'. I only use one default (it was called "frown" I guess) and my current avatar is wearing the mouth. is another mouth I use relatively often.

All of the avatars I make are my OCs and I do make different outfits for some of them.

I usually cosplay, so I try to choose faces that match the character I am playing. Since I always dress as males, I am a bit more limited in my choices. I find I use and quite a bit recently. The item has always been a staple as well. Lastly, I really enjoy using .

I way overuse quite a few items, but I just adore them.

i definitely overuse my face items... i guess i'm just picky? i use these a lot:

eyes (layered, in any combo): + any color of the creme liners lips (layered, again in any combo): + any color of the sassy matte lipsticks/sassy lip lacquers

Definitely guilty of overusing the Argo Blackout Liquid Liner and to a lesser extent the Donna Fake Lashes.

They're pretty nice though, to be fair.

I wrote down other face items I see myself using often, but it actually ended up kind of lengthy... so I guess I do manage to have a bit of variety. I like making a lot of HAs, and I like to vary up it if I can, though some items I end up using more anyway (such as the Nazar eyes, for example, and the Dream Lip Tints). None of my HAs are supposed to be the same character either, unless I'm trying to remake a HA or something.

Don't have a lot of CW makeup, but I like using a lot.

I'm pretty sure I only rotate through a couple of face items for all my HAs, unless I'm going for something really new. I do tend to see my HA as the same person regardless of what face she ends up having though.

I am guilty of going to or pretty much every time.I also seem to end up leaning on and as well.

I've set myself a little challenge to try and use different items but its harder than it seems, I guess once you find something that just suits you keep with it.

i use on almost every avatar. i've tried to switch it up, but i always end up wearing it instead of whatever else i was trying to work with. other items i'm stuck on are the , the (which is a body item but i use it mainly for how it looks on the face), , (which i usually layer under the argo liner), , and . i also use all of the sui blushes/bronzer, dream lip tints, and the body blushes pretty often.

My HA is usually a different person/character each time, the ones that aren't are either cosplays or characters from my stories/pets. I use on just about every damn (male, which is about 80% of them) HA I make. I can't help it if all my characters are grumpy/apathetic.
