I have only one window for Subeta open (using latest firefox) and it becomes unresponsive almost to the point of having to restart the browser. Am I doing something wrong? I have shut everything completely down.. brought up everything that is supposed to be running..I go to Subeta and about 20 minutes in, the browswer starts "glitching" again.. :(

This happens to me every time I get on Subeta. It never happens until I open a tab with Subeta and then the entire browser screeches to a halt and eventually stops responding. It's been happening for several weeks now. My husband has been having the same problem on his computer, but only when playing on Subeta.

Hm, I haven't had this problem and I'm using the latest version of chrome... maybe it's a browser based issue?

I don't have this issue either and I'm using Chrome beta. Might be a Firefox issue?

I do have the shoutbox on my dashboard, but my husband does not. I use Firefox, but I'm pretty sure he uses Chrome... at least, I think he does.

It's probably Firefox, although any page out there with Google ads like Doubleclick also makes it stutter, not just for page loading but everything.

The recent Firefox revisions are particularly troublesome. The one before consumes over 1GB memory with minimal browsing (like 2 tabs) in 15 minutes and runs like a parking brake. Then they fixed the memory usage somewhat but now it's stuttering. The Webkit browsers like Chrome and Opera doesn't have the stuttering issue.

I'd rather use the Webkit browsers because it runs faster, but some fonts renders blurry (including Subeta) and Firefox is more customizable with everything.

I got my Firefox browser to behave again by giving it a tune up. You can do that going to Help -> Troubleshooting Information, and then click that button on the top right corner "Refresh Firefox..."

One difference I noticed is that it set many configurations back to default. Some of the settings might have been from previous versions of the profile which cause newer versions to act up. Since I knew which configurations I changed manually, I initially couldn't narrow down the problem because they seemed to work or made no difference.

I have been having this trouble for a while now, and it's extremely irritating. I have always used FF as my primary browser but it might be time to change. :(

I'm experiencing this as well. On Firefox, it's perfectly fine on Chrome.

I did the suggested fix and now my Firefox is all wonky =/

Also, I've recently noticed that no matter what you type in, the site is automatically redirecting it https from the standard subeta.net - that maybe is causing the slowdown.

is there a reason its forcing us to use https:// at the start of the pages now?
