I made a topic about this before, but it was a while, so hopefully this is fine...

Often when making a HA, I can start to get some ideas for their personalities and such, and sometimes might even want to come up with a story for them. It can also help with making a HA because I'll start thinking more what items make sense for that character and such. Like my current HA (linking 'cause I often change it) turned out pretty serious-looking, and I imagined him looking through old books in search for something. So adding the books isn't too random. And I haven't really gotten into the details and such, but I was thinking it has the potential for a somewhat "dark" fantastic story I guess.

Or like with this this HA... Well I already wrote about it in the description, but I was thinking of a boy who has been abandoned and starts to turn into a beast or whatever in order to survive on his own, etc.

So I'm curious what other people might have come up for their HAs.

Yes I do too! I usually start randomly with an item I want to use and start picking color coordinated items and eventually a theme or character pops up. I find that the eyes I choose lends itself to the character creation. I don't know how to show my past avatars (I change it often as well) but I had an autumn themed one before and she was a woodland nymph/goddess. At first I had really big innocent eyes, but then I put on a different pair and suddenly she turned into a forest spirit that lured people in with bright lights and trapped them.

My current HA is some kind of half-breed cat creature who lives like a shadow, a wanderer. She doesn't speak often, if at all. She is very good at watching people from afar or copying things she's seen once, but hasn't learned human interactions very well as her only companion is that little feline.

I have one:

Unwitting nobleman's son who turns out to have gained more from his mother than just the horns. He never really fleshed out that much more.

Then I started cosplaying my mage Inquisitor and playing with things on here to go along with his stories on my Tumblr. More to it but that's the gist of what I can post on Subeta, really.

I think I had invasion mine as a bounty-hunter of sorts, but she still looks elegant most of the time. It's been a while since I've been active on here. XD I might play with her design a bit more. Or at least fix her mouth.

Reminds me sometimes I can be conflicted with what face items to go with, trying to decide which one better fits the character of my HA.

Yeah, I admit, most of mine aren't that fleshed out. Although lately I've made HAs that inspire me enough I keep feeling the urge to make pets based upon them. @ trying not to run out of all my pet slots at once
