I am (was) a zombie with a zapper 1 skin. I went to my wardrobe and was taken to V3 where the only HA was the one I am wearing. All saved ones were not there so I left. Now I find I no longer have access to the The Alcove, 'Oh No! YOU GO NOW. ZOMBIES ONLY ALLOWED.', and when I go to the healer I have no virus only the skin.

I did not cure my zombieness.

Please help.

Do you not have your zombie skin unlocked under the Skins tab in the v3 wardrobe? If not, you'll need to file a ticket. But otherwise you just need to put the skin on; you can't wear two at once

I have always been able to wear the two at once. I think it was a glitch with the zapper 1. The wardrobe v3 shows my zombie skin in colour whatever that means.

If I remember correctly, the zombie skin was basically the base skin before they changed the skins to be redeemable and the zapper skins just layered over them. Now the zombie skins and zapper skins function in basically the same way. The skin layers over the base and you can only wear one skin at a time. It's kinda like only being able to wear one style of eyes or style of nose. If it is unlocked (which it ought to be... they are grayed out if they are locked), you can wear your zombie skin by selecting it and saving your avatar. You will be able to access the zombie exclusive parts of the site (once the site recognizes you've got your zombie skin on... it can take a little while for it to get the message sometimes) and you can switch back to your zapper skin when you are done.

You have to click on the skin, the ones that are colored for you are unlocked, to wear it now and click save along with whatever items you want. You can also choose default eyes/hair/mouth/and nose and if you want those hidden make sure to move them under the base layer. You can't wear a zombie skin and a zapper skin at the same time any longer since we can now choose to wear a skin or not have one on. It's strange that seems to be the only place in the Underground that you need a skin for though. I thought the Underground was entirely Zombies only, so that's a bit odd to me. Perhaps I'm remembering wrong though.

Thanks for your help but I did nothing to make my zombiness change. It happened when I went to wardrobe. I was a zombie before I went there and not one after. I should not have happened without me doing something. And it is my zombie skin that is unlocked not the zapper skin that the healer says I have on.

Had it been quite some time since you last accessed the wardrobe? I think V3 forces an "update" to the HA when it is first accessed. -shrugs-

I would have accessed the wardrobe sometime after the Morostide. So not that long ago.

I'm not sure why it changed, but it probably just put the "top" skin you had on, on your HA (the zapper skin). You have your zombie skin unlocked and you're able to put it back on if you want, so I'm not quite sure what the problem still is?

Basically this is what happened to everyone else who had a skin already, once the "claim" button was no longer necessary in the wardrobe, it's just that you had two skins on and it unlocked both but put the zapper skin on your HA instead of the zombie.

It is not a problem but the fact is I did not do this and I had no say in the matter. If there had been a warning or something and I had a choice then all would be fine. But I did not have a choice and that is rather annoying.

The skins feature has been out for a year now. With the skins feature, you're not supposed to be able to wear two skins at once. Is that the issue you have with it, that you can't wear both? Or that it was changed without you deliberately clicking a button, because I believe it's worked like that for quite some time.

I put on the skin so am back to being a zombie. Thanks.
