Bluff - Error (Lock Please)

So i'm playing bluff, a game I really enjoy (Liar's Dice is one of my favorite dice games!) and I bid and he bids and then I challenge his bid. It says I lost and I look at our dice.
His bid was "At least (3) 6's" I challenged having only one 6 he only had one 6
1+1=2
2 < 3
how did I lose?
