Are there any fellow Runescape players on Subeta?

RS3. Currently going for 120 slayer. :P

I couldn't do RS3, the EoC really mucked up pvp, I tried it for a month maybe and it was so dead. I played OSRS for a while after it came out, but the community was horrendous lol.

120 slayer eh? Do all stats go up to 120 now? What's your slayer at currently?

I'm definitely more pvm than pvp. They recently introduced "virtual levels." It basically displays your level up to 120, however dungeoneering is still the only skill to actually have content after 99. I'm currently at 107.

forgive my cynicism but that seems just like a half-baked scheme to milk the most possible out of a dying game :/.

I've never disliked pvm, I just always found the intense competitiveness of pvp to be more fun. I heard about the new deadman servers for osrs, if I wasn't so certain that I just wouldnt be able to tolerate the community I would try it out. I might take a peek at it over thanksgiving or christmas break though.

It was actually a player-poll. Most of the stuff they do now they poll first which is nice. Right now they're adding new slayer monsters that are meh buttt it's what the community wanted.

That makes sense, I know it's something that was desired since dungeoneering and probably before that as well. Player polls had a lot to do with the downfall of the pk community in osrs as well, they voted to bring back things like godswords which are ideal for rushing/1-iteming and other hijinks that ruin a good day of pking. How long have you been playing RS?

I never got into WoW, it seemed too much of a pvm game to me, and it wasn't very appealing to be forced to pay $15 a month. I had made up my mind against it before they came out with the 30 days or X-level trials they have now.

I've been playing RS off and on for 12 years now. Yeah, rushing was pretty annoying.Ice Blitz->G maul ggwp.

I mainly played private servers. No payments.

I miss the runescape I played when I was 13-16.. :/ Which was 8-5 years ago
