Ah, I saw these on DA ^_^ I hope you have better luck here with selling them. They're all very adorable. I already have way too many adoptables that I haven't done anything with though. Otherwise I would probably have snagged one of these up ❤️

Aww it's alright :) I love them all enough to just claim them if they don't find a forever home <3 It was worth trying though just to get some experience in the adoptable world. Always learning!

Sooooo can I use these for an overlay for one of my pets? or how do they work? Sorry I've never bought an adoptable so I'm sorry if it seems like a silly question!

My rules might be a little different than other adoptable sellers, but to me an adoptable is where I sell a character's design. If you purchase a character then you can make any changes you want as long as you run them by me. Preferably small changes since why buy a design just to change it drastically. However, you have full control over their personality/name/story. I won't redraw them with the changes a buyer makes, but in the future they can draw them the way they want.

At least that's my understanding of the world! I'm still quite new to it myself :) My examples themselves aren't good for overlays since I drew them on a rectangular canvas rather than a square canvas you'd use for an overlay. But yes, someone could buy an adoptable here and have an overlay drawn of them~ Hope that clears a few things up!

-hugsquishes- I know! I've missed coming on here as much ;v; just seems like the site is always in reconstruction mode and that's stressful. I also just felt like my growth was being held back a bit by only having time for commissions so I had to take a few months off.

Subeta is always a work in progress. Just some days, there is more construction zone signs than others! Some times you just need to take some time off! Though, maybe you should consider having a slot for experimental stuff? Like, a person pays, but you get to have liberty on the piece and do whatever you really want (within reason)? "Here is the character and here is their personality. You can do anything as long as it is this size." Not sure that would help, but I think I have seen some art shops do that.

Also, I just can't help myself. I will do the SB on "Black & Baby Blue" please. That design is just so delightfully colorful and artsy that I just can't stop looking at it. XDDDD

I actually do plan on having a slot like that! haha It's just harder with those types because the commissioner has to really trust you because of the gamble. I have "vent" pieces like this and this that I want to offer. So I'd use a headshot of the character and design something based off of likes/personality/etc. I'll try to make 2 more examples before opening up shop~ So much to do before then! Hopefully by Dec 1st it'll be open
