I've just recently got into making these (I'm still trying to figure out how to iron them without doing too much/little), but I was thinking about opening a small etsy shop, selling keyrings, hair clips, magnets & jewellery. I'm super excited, cuz it'll be my first etsy store. I don't really expect it to make much money, but I'm really enjoying making them so it's all good. Anywaaayyy! Have you guys ever done anything with hama beads before? Tips? :D
Never actually heard of them, Do you have any pictures of things you've done?
They're like little beads that you arrange in a pattern and then iron them solid. A few of the things I've done are here: [x]
Those are really cute! I'm surprised I'd never heard of the Hama beads before. They look like they would lend themselves to making some adorable holiday ornaments. I suppose craft stores like Michael's would carry the beads, prob' in a kit setup. Looks like fun.
I have done several, though I have not done any new ones in a few months. I need to get back into it.
Here is a few of my creations
As for tips? None really spring to mind. When it comes to ironing I find its best to just follow your instincts, sometimes it varies on length needed and just practicing and learning to trust yourself is the best thing to do :D
