So I realized yesterday that on my pet Tassels' profile, there was a strange extra tag showing up. "?>" was on the page. After looking to see if I could find where it was coming from in the code, I contacted the profile maker to see if she could figure it out. She looked through some old spotlight winners and saw it was on all of their profiles as well. I then looked on my old spotlight winners and it was there as well. I thought it might be something to do with the spotlight nomination function being turned on, because it doesn't show on unprofiled pets, but it is on Fairylight, who is not up for nomination, but does have a profile.

It seems that having a profile (or just coding?) in the pet's description causes this problem. It's mostly just aesthetic, but it is a something for coders to look at rather than simple fixes? I apologize if this is the wrong subcategory.

Just now I realized that it isn't limited to pet profiles! It also shows up at the very bottom of regular pages like this board! It not caused by custom css either because it still shows up even if I remove it completely.

It's an end tag of php. Someone probably forgot to remove an extra end tag or added one by accident. Or maybe they printed the tag out by accident.

I saw the same thing and came here to report it. It is in the source code right before their google code:

</style> ?> <!-- Google Code for Remarketing Tag -->

Not sure when/if they will fix it. It's a pretty minor problem in the scheme of things :)

pinging some important people then... sorry if it is unnecessary!

Thank you for your reports! This has actually been reported in another thread. I did make a note for staff already.
