I'm here because I got tired of another similar website's glitches (cough cough neopets...) so I'm on a hiatus there and decided to check out this community! I've been exploring and reading all of the help topics/FAQ and it seems there's a lot to do around here. I'm excited to keep exploring!

In real life I'm 26, I love animals (I have 2 dogs, a horse, a rabbit and a beardie) and I work in marketing. Not sure what else to say about myself at this point so I'm just going to say "Hi and I look forward to meeting you!"

I play Neopets myself. I'm not ready to leave it yet, but I thought I should start on a different site in case Neopets doesn't make it.

Marez- Nice meeting you, too! It's nice seeing that there are other new players around and it's not just me.

Tansyanne- Hi! That's awesome that you play Neo, too. I wish I could quit since I've gotten so sick of the poor customer service & them not fixing anything, but I've worked too hard on my pets there. They also royally screwed over my friend on Neo who is being charged for a premium she's tried cancelling and can't get anyone to respond to. I'll probably go back for the Advent Calendar in December, though. I'm an addict...

p.s. I must also apologize for my avatar. I read that they are switching over the wardrobe system so that must be the reason I can't fix my hair glitch.

This is how to fix the hair. Go to the V3 Wardrobe. On the far left there is a place where it shows all the items your avatar is wearing and the words Base, Eyes, Nose, etc. Click on the word Base and drag it to the bottom of the list. Then save.

I'm glad you got your hair fixed. I had the same problem when I first joined. I asked about it on the Help and Questions board and Keith himself (who I think is the head programmer) told me how to do it.

Welcome to Subeta! It's nice seeing an older player on a petsite xD I know there's lots of us, but I have that "Everyone else must be 14 or 15." mindset when I play on petsites! XD I'm 25 myself, also a former Neopian(Although, they deleted my account long ago sadly. I couldn't get access back to it though I tried super hard..)

Now a days, I actually prefer it here. We have great avatars, mature humor(and some immature too!) in item descriptions, really pretty pets and colors for them, and a great community here!

I play on a fair few pet sites these days, but Subeta is one I always come back too. I love(Like, LOVE) helping people out, so if you ever have questions or need help, feel more than free to add me as a friend or message me!

That's really kind of you! I do love the artwork here. The restocking system seems much better than Neopets, too. Thanks for offering to help. I may have to send you some questions here and there :)

Welcome! This is definitely a great site for older players (I'm 56 myself). I get nostalgic for Neo' every once in a while but one or two clicks there usually cures me quick. I love that you can have soooo many pets all on one nice neat account here. so here is where I usually play. I still can't give up on all my xweetoks tho....

Thank you! It's really nice to be on a pet site that isn't just kids. Now that I've started playing subeta I feel less of a need to check on my neopets while I'm on hiatus. It really feels like an adult alternative to neo here. I could never give up completely on my peophins, so I understand :)
