;v; I'm trying my hand at a few CWs, but need some advice. I know the shading on the sweater needs to be fixed/edited, but was wondering if anyone could give me pointers?

I'll update the file when I shade the hair, because I'm sure I'll need help on that, as well. ;A;

EDIT || NEW

;A; Still working on improving my shading, though it's a lot harder than it looks. Trying to see what people think of these, shading-wise?

(pinging again for new wig? Hopefully that's within the rules? ;A; if not, I apologize.)

It looks great so far. The shading is something even I have issues with myself, although I have made a handful of CWs. My advice is to do your best to take in account the whole item shape while shading, which is cell shading. It's very easy for me to fall into gradient shading sometimes, which you don't want obviously. Just follow the shape of the body of the HA for clothing. Hair is a bit different though, you want to take into account the shape of the hair on the head but also the individual strands as well.

That hair looks amazing, I would totally slot for it. Sonatine recently (aka, like, earlier today) made a hair tutorial and here is also an older one by her. Hope these help because I can't draw CWs for shit
