I know this problem is just me but I don't know how to fix it.

I recently made a fan pet, seen here, and I'm using the Papyrus font on it's page. Others can see it fine, but I see this.

Also, I noticed that I don't see moving overlays unless I scroll while on the page. (Or if something on the page is loading.) I see a static image otherwise. I have the most recent version of firefox. I clear my cookies after every session. I'm not sure if I'm missing a plugin or something;

[edit] also the fav icon doesn't load in the tab sometimes... am i missing something?? my firefox is up to date, i even redownloaded it even though it was up to date. i don't understand

How would I go about installing a font on my computer? I can see it on other sites and I can use it on MS Paint and such, so I'm a bit confused about that.

And I see this pet overlay as a static image unless I scroll within the page. I see the image by itself move just fine, it just seems to be within the profile I have a problem with.

And the fav icon is the little icon in the tabs at the top. Like this. I feel like that image says it all; It doesn't show up on some pages for me.

That pet image isn't moving, it just moves as the page scrolls I think, because I see it that way too. (Edit: Nvm that's a firefox issue, I thought to actually check it in Chrome. Might be something that can be fixed with the coding, idk)

The fav icon is sometimes a cache issue and can normally be cleared up with a hard refresh or restarting your browser. Sometimes both, sometimes it just won't show.

Installing a font is pretty simple: go dafonts.com - it's safe, secure and I've used it for years no problem - locate Papyrus, download, extract the files (if you're on Windows 7 or later, it shouldn't need an external program) to someplace like Documents. Go into your control panel, fonts and open that. There should be a tab someplace that states "Install," click that, find your Papyrus and install. Bing, done.

How do you have the overlay coded in? It looks like you have it as a background image instead of as an actual pet overlay which is an entirely different code.

Really? It works on my friends computer, the owner of the pet, so I assumed it was just me. I guess I'll have to tell her that...

Is she using Firefox though? (I don't know if you saw my edit) It works in Chrome, I don't know if it's a coding thing or if there's just nothing she can do about it, I'm not good with coding :x

I saw your edit. She uses firefox, so I'll have to tell her she did something wrong with the code. It works fine for her so that's a bit confusing; It's not that important so I'll just tell her it isn't just me.

All right, I feel like an idiot. lmao... I downloaded the font and it seems to work; Ahhh... thank you;; For the fav icon, I noticed that a hard refresh does help. It's just happening on other sites... I can't ask about those here because it isn't subeta related. I was kind of hoping that I'd get another option since I've tried hard refreshing, restarting the session, and restarting my computer. It's fixed on subeta, so I guess I'm satisfied with that; I'll just ask on the other site I'm having problem with.

Hey, it's okay. It's confusing when you first do it, especially if you're on a new OS, I totally understand how it can be frustrating.

Fav icons are just strange sometimes - when Subeta changed to the current one, it took like six months for it to change for me and that was with me restarting and refreshing and everything. It's tricky to tell.

My firefox is 41.0.2, as well. I'm not sure what the problem is, then;

It makes me feel even dumber since I've had this computer for over a year and I had no idea. I've seen it on other sites so I didn't know I had to download it to see it on other sites;;

I've told them about the profile, since they do want help with it, and they should be messaging you soon.

That's weird. Just a test to see if it's a coding issue or if you just can't see animation in general. Can you see the image spoiler below moving or no? :O

Yeah, I can see it just fine by itself. It's just when I go to the profile, I don't see it animated unless I move the page.

I guess most of the problems I've been having are solved so this can be locked. Thank you for the help, everyone!
