My general approach has been to click slightly off center in the bottom right, then move closer to the corner. If that came up as cold, I would then jump to slightly off center in the top left. If hot, further towards corner and if cold, off center towards top right. XD

It's hard to explain in words, so idk if you can really understand what I mean, hahah.
