So, my battle pet got to T6 yesterday. I know a bit of battling from Neopets, but noticed that things are different here (e.g. the fact that training your pet is a lot easier here).

Right now, I've got this:

Weapons:

Scrolls:

In the Battle Shop, I've collected 146 Easy tokens, 158 Medium tokens and 81 Hard tokens. There are some weapons for T6 that can be bought with Hard tokens. Are any of those useful?

Any help would be appreciated and thank you :)

Hi! The first item you should buy from the battle shop is the , it's a 100% freezer which is a step up from the icy freezing rod you're currently using, and it has some offensive icons thrown in which is always nice. It's also essentially free which makes it a great buy.

The next thing your set needs is healing, both a 100% healer and some constant healing from your weapons. is a great 100% healer that you'll use in basically every tier - it's available in the MC.

Also, a great weapon for Tier 6 (and a few tiers upwards!) is the which is a genetech combination of the two similar wands available in the MC. Its price might also be a bit steep but it really is one of the most important weapons you can use in T6.

I really like the since it's such an affordable weapon that can really dish out big hits. I would recommend pairing that with the Reborn Icewand for some constant damage and healing in your set.

At this point you'll have two constants, a healer, and a freezer, which leaves room for 4 extra weapons. These are entirely up to you, but I do recommend diversifying your weapons. In your current set, you're heavily focused on attackers - since you can use at most 2 per turn, keeping a maximum of 3 constant attackers in your default set at any given time is more than enough. The other spots can be used for more healers, freezers, bombs, etc.

In terms of scrolls, I find to be an affordable way to add an extra 8% heal to every turn, which really can make a big difference over the course of a battle.

I also recommend perusing this guide to see what weapons are generally recommended for each tier. You can also see which ones will last you several tiers so that way you can decide if they're worth the investment or not.

Sorry for the long post! Let me know if you have any more questions and I'll help as much as I can ^-^

Thank you very much :) I was thinking about getting myself the Frost Quill from the Battle Shop, but I got myself the now. With the sP I currently own I think that I can afford the and the Scroll (that I will assemble myself as its cheaper than buying one).

I read through this guide a few months ago, this is where I got the Icy Freezing Rod and the Eventide Chakram from. And by reading this guide again (and through a few of these threads here), I think I've got another question: What about a shield? Most users seem to favor the Shinwa Temple Shard (or something like that). It seems to be a Crystal Shop Item?

Yeah, the shard is a OPB full block so it's another weapon that's essential at basically every tier after you can start using it. It's pricey but definitely worth it since it'll basically give you a free turn.

A BIT pricey. I guess I'll hope that the shard restocks in the Crystal Shop (although I don't think that I've got enough crystals right now)...

The Phoenix Quill and the scroll really are lifesavers. I was able to defeat the Pumpkin Patch Goblin and the Torchbearer five times thanks to those two, and even got the better of Wolve twice. And during the Battle Quest, I was finally able to beat Mechalag :)

Congrats! The best way to decide what you need is to just battle a lot and decide on your own style. I would say that most battles I don't really use my shard unless it's a challenger way out of my tier that I'm trying to beat. If your battling style favours healing over blocking I would also start saving for a , which is a OPB 90% heal that has some defensive icons thrown in, and it looks to be considerably cheaper than the shard right now.

Thank you. I'm still not sure which challengers are within my tier, though. I can only tell which challengers I'm able to beat and which not. Before I changed weapons today, I was able to beat every challenger on the Challenger List up to Pete except for Mama Mush and Mechalag.

The Reviver is still pricey, but at least available through the Antique Shop now... and maybe worth a thought (it's just way out of my financial possibilities right now).
