I LOVE Luminaire here on the site-- and I wanted to go all out this year so I've been saving up sP for a while. Does anyone else prepare ahead of time? Any tips?

I love Luminaire too! Morostide is awesome, but Luminaire is my absolute favourite holiday.

I like to lurk the Advertising forums just to see if anyone is selling anything at a good deal - I like to stock up on gifts way ahead of time, and finding bargains means I can stock up on twice as many ^-^

That's a super good idea. I've been hoarding sP, so I'm constantly questing to try and save. I started getting items but I was afraid that I wasn't getting items cool enough to gift.

Yeah, browsing the Advertising forums is great because there's such a huge variety of items. I also save some of the cooler items I get from questing - Carl, Pete, The Library and Major Drills usually give out some cool stuff! I hoard tokens too - those are obviously a great go-to present.

Is it okay if I friend request you so we can exchange presents this year? :D

Even though Ive been on Subeta for a while I haven't participated in Luninaire. What happens throughout the holiday besides the advent calender?

Besides the daily Melody items, you can decorate your own personal Luminaire tree which shows up on your profile -- sometimes it's good to be on the lookout for ornaments throughout the year because certain designs are expensive! Seasonal items /sigh Besides that, there's also the Mysterious Melody to participate in as well, but it's hit-or-miss with some users. Also, quite a lot of achievements to look forward to. I would check out the "Luminaire" tab under the seasonal achivements for an idea on what to look forward to (:

I load up on duplicate lifelike dolls in November to send to people who may have that doll on their wishlist, I always hoard wizard tokens to pass out as well as the generic scratchcard idea. Anyone else have ideas? It's almost that time!

I'm in mass saving mode! I save as much sP as I can so I can participate in events and giftbomb like crazy!

One of my favorite things to do is gift! So I'll be prepping to anon-gift random users from their WLs, throw dozens of gifts under trees, etc! I also stock up on things everyone can appreciate, like Wiz tokens, Books and Plushies, etc. I spend a lot of time thinking up at least one meaningful gift for the friends I see are active if I know them well enough. I like to try and put as much as I can from a persons wishlist under their tree, because after all, Who doesn't like opening to see they have a ridiculous amount of presents? :3

I also start cleaning up my own wishlist, fixing categories, checking to make sure I take off doubles and making sure I have some cheaper things on my WL for friends not looking to spend a lot. I want to make sure I'm not that one friend you'd like to buy something for but can't afford anything on their list xD

I also start looking into ornaments for my tree and such, festive stickers I can put on friend's sticker pages, etc.

I don't think I've been back on subeta since the luminaire tree started, exciting!

I can't wait for Melody. I love going each day and getting a surprise. :D And I also like saving sP ahead of time so I can surprise people with gifts. :D

I'm so excited! I've got a vault full of gifts, a wintery HA on standby, and I've been mentally planning my tree decorations for weeks. I'm going to have to try and wake up early tomorrow to fit in more Lumi goodness!

I cannot wait! Tomorrow, the first day of Dec. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

After being away on hiatus for a long while, I'm so excited to get back into Subeta again with Luminaire. :D I've gone through my wardrobe and had a good clear out so I can't wait for MM to start tomorrow as I now have loads and loads of wearable goodies to send. Fingers crossed my MMs for the foreseeable future like wearables as much as me hehe! :)

I try to save up a few MM sets of items to give...a full holiday dinner, a nifty holiday outfit complete with backgrounds, and old fashioned toys under the tree set...that sort of thing is fun to me.

I always try to stuff a bunch of items under my friends trees, I love seeing the prezzies rack up. Wizard tokens, subeautique invites, of course a couple wishlist items.

And of course it's always fun to try and come up with cute outfits based on the items Subeta gives out over the month.
