Not sure if I'll get a answer here before I find out by other meens.....I joined a group in MH4U and it was CLEAR they were hacking. The quest I joined looked very odd, the Monablos went down in afew hits and the supply chest had 99 of the Armor Cores and Gems.

I didn't get a streetpass from him ( thank gosh) so my save file is probably safe, but should I get rid of the items I gained ( Carves I'm probably safe but the rewards and the Gems and Cores are a worry) or am I safe keeping them?

You're safe to keep them, they won't harm your game. But from a moral standpoint, if it bothers you, I'd delete them. Or delete the extras, at least.

Alrighty. I am thinking of keeping the Devine Armor Spheres at lest. Correct me if i'm wrong but when doing my own research Spheres aren't as fun to farm compared to monster drops. I may hold off on putting them in anything until I'm ready for my Urgent with some friends though since I'm not sure how random people will respond seeing my set completely upgraded with those.

Others I'll deside on keeping, thankfuly I didn't get alot from the carves in that run. Worst was the 50 hearts and those aren't likely to have a use for a while as is since this was my first G Monablos fight as is.
