Unfortunately, Brand New actually just hinted at an impending breakup during one of their recent shows. We better start preparing for the worst on that front. I'd be heartbroken if Brand New called it quits, but hey. It's life, I guess. Here

I was lucky enough to get to see MCR live once before they broke up. I saw them on the Honda Civic Tour with Blink 182 back in 2011. It's an experience I will literally cherish forever. They were such a huge part of growing up for me. lol

Wait, MCR broke up years ago, though. Like, literally two and a half years ago. Gerard and Frank are getting up to some really cool projects outside of their past in the band, which is definitely really exciting! Gerard released an album about a year ago -- kind of a David Bowie-esque sound -- and he's been super busy getting involved in the comics industry. Frank and his band, frnkiero andthe cellabration, released an album not too long ago and have been touring ever since. Ray is set to release a solo album later this year. I couldn't give a fuck about Mikey with all of the shady shit he was pulling near the end of MCR by cheating on Alicia with a seventeen-year-old fan.

So even though they're not together as a unit, the majority of the band is out there doing really cool shit. I'm glad they're getting this time to really explore themselves creatively to achieve things they might not have been able to do were they still together as MCR. Except Mikey. Mikey can go fuck himself.

Lol that's the truth about Mikey.

I literally have not even given him a thought more than a couple of times since the band broke up. I'm always hearing about the cool stuff the other guys are doing, and I'm like, "hell yeah I'm so here for this." I sort of forget that Mikey even exists, tbh.

, well I better go see them before that happens. :( I know but i'm not over it :c Their solo / apart from each other stuff is exciting but the songs and music they played as a whole probably won't be played separately and those songs were a huge part of my life growing up and its just kinda sucky.

I get that things happen and bands can't be bands forever and many go off to settle down and do whatever is next in their chapter in life. I'm just a whiner >.> heh....
