Can we all talk about how ridiculous this movie was, how precious Peter and Blackbeard were as actors, and of course the acapella songs.
I got tricked into seeing the film. At least from my point of view, it was being tricked. My Mum and my sister may not have intended it. Basically, I was going to go straight home from university, but then my Mum texted me saying that she and my sister were in town, so I went to meet them. She didn't say anything about going to see it, and I tried to refuse, but you just can't say no to my sister. And yes, how did a film like that even get made? Also, Tumblr must never know what happened, or everyone there will kill me. Well, maybe not, but still, even though I didn't pay for it (Cause Mum did), I don't want to be looked down on for it.

One of the things that disturbed me about the film was how the natives seemed to explode into coloured dust when they died. I mean, at first I thought it was just pretty decorations being destroyed, until I realised. They were probably trying to keep it child-friendly, but if any children look back on it as an adult, they would probably be as disturbed as I was.
Apart from that, I guess the special effects were alright. This is probably going to become one of those "So bad it's good," films X)
