Now, first off, I want to say that I'm not really sure how to gather weapon data or anything, so this might not be in the OP, but I wanted to make this thread because I've always wanted someone to make a thread with each new challenger. So I want to make this thread as a forum to just discuss the Morostide challengers as well as talk about the best sets to use against who, ask questions, just talk about wins against them and whatnot. WARNING: Under the spoiler is opponent stats, LOOT, and strategies!

I used this set for my Tier 6 and got at least one win very easily, without even using my full healers. First turn I used my Knocker for some defense and healing along with the Gorgun for freezing. During the frozen turn I used Soma Tablets and Recycle Blaster. With that combo I was lucky enough to get a freeze (which is what my set is based around) so while frozen I used Frozen Ocean Curl and Reborn Icewand of Doom in hopes of continuing to freeze him. When he's not frozen I switch to RIWoD and the RMK for some defense coverage, that small freezing chance, and the healing. Then I would use the full healers as needed.

Lingering Haunt Severed Tongue reminds me of the banshee tongue

I hit tier 7 recently and managed to defeat up to Torch Bearer and Wolve. I think Carrion Lord is a little out of my league, but I'll keep training. There's always next year (but I think I've been saying that ever since they were first released, haha)

I am very close to being able to defeat Carrion Lord and I'm a low Tier 6. I feel with better weapons or scrolls that I could squeeze a win, so I'm sure T7s could do so as well

I battled them all with 4 pets and I got 7, 3, 1, and 5 amulets during my runs. Wolve was the best and gave me like 10 of the 16 I earned.

YES YES YES! This is the first year Felinah's been able to beat the Carrion Lord! SO HAPPY. :D

What weapons are you using currently? I have a tier 7 pet and I struggle to get below 700hp for Carrion Lord, so if I can defeat him I'd really love to get the achievement this year C:

(I have Item hunters bomb, blunderbuss, phoenix quill, recycle blaster, minotaur knocker, Ultima Tag Plus, Lightbulb Nunchucks and Reborn ice wand of doom. I also have the scrolls Cobalt Eternal and Perilous Whirlpool. He always manages to hit me with 500 damage when I have about 350 left)

I can't remember how low I managed to get him, but it was definitely under 700 or even 500hp. I had managed to freeze him twice, so...

I use: Rainbow Vortex Icy Freezing Rod of Doom Soma Tablets Iron Fireside Lantern Forj Tempered Kusarigama Eventide Chakram Phoenix Quill Reviver of the Lion

I don't have any of my weapons modded, and I don't use scrolls so I'm sure those would help immensely. xD

Ooh okay, thank you! I don't have the rainbow vortex or the Soma tablets or the reviver so I'll look into those and see if they make a difference. I have mods on my weapons but did always wonder if I was under hitting with my set, so it looks like I need a upgrade!

I'm a T5, but I've been able to get through Torchbearer entirely and Wolve I've beaten a couple times. I just can't seem to get the last, like, two wins I need from him, though. :( I've been playing around with my set, but so far nothing has helped.

I'm t3 and I'm having such a hard time with Candy Scorn for some reason. I want his 5 win drops and I've barely been able to beat him twice :(

I hope you don't mind, but I linked the set you used to beat Carrion Lord with your T6. I'm no MrCool, but I'm trying to get as many different sets as possible that worked in the OP so others can get a feel of what they can use themselves.

Even going through the bcc rn to try and condense what information has been given is a mess. So if anyone sees or wants to share their set and/or strategy for any opponents please feel free. [edit] I'm battling with Moths right now and they have somewhat equal stat's to your Dreambinder. I'm finding a lot of luck using this set: First turn is Freezing Rod of Doom + Knocker While he's frozen I used both Shrines. With both thr shrine blessings up I used both the bombs on the next turn and then just wittle away his HP with the knocker and Inhibiter and use the Quill if he crits you (which he never did for me) I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative to the Knocker right now (as it really isn't a good investment in the long run)
